When you sand the cylinder.. Do you sand the inside of the hole also? I was trying to myself but it is kinda hard to do the inside because i cant get a good angle or get in there with sandpaper

Hello, I have a question if you know what can cause blocking of the cylinder when closing the bolt, when I tighten the spring it goes smoothly (the cylinder without the trigger installed does not block and does not rub) but after installing the trigger assembly I already have resistance when closing the cylinder, it is not as smooth as without trigger.?? replica is well mb4411

Does anybody know if the sorbopad mod reduces fps/joule number?
@GaijinAirsoft9 ай бұрын
yes it does since you are lowering the volume of the cylinder, causing less air pressure, hence less joule at the end but its not an extreme reduction =)

I hope this video helps people realize that airsoft sniping is not really sniping 😅 Wind is often the excuse used to justify the rifle’s variance but in truth, the gun itself has it’s own intrinsic variance as this is airsoft 😅 Thank you for such a video and we need more of this to help dispel all the delusion there is out there

exactly, we are trying to shoot something with less then 3 joules with a round bb of 0.50 grams. if people think they are still sniping, well... XD

Great video. Appreciated:) I would love to have some insight into the differences between the stock and the AA chamber concerning the TDC 2.0 mod...Is the AA worth it? As I can see, there are 2 different versions for the stock and the AA chamber... Gaijin you mentioned that the stock is just fine, but is there any comparison or at least some opinions of those 2 different chambers with the TDC 2.0 mod.
@GaijinAirsoft9 ай бұрын
sorry for the late reply, wasnt checking the channel for a long time =/ So the whole idea of the TDC is a straight pressure on the bb without any angle to give "precise" hop. AA is like an ADC where A stands for angled. it is not bad, but not exactly what you really want to have. if you buy the TDC from Tridos (which is my favourite until now), they have 2 versions, 1 for the stock chamber and another to change the AA into TDC. so no matter what, you will have to buy the TDC, therefore, i would suggest not to spend money on AA chamber and on top of that the TDC but leave the stock chamber as it is and just get the TDC and you are done =)

Just received my ssg10 and the bolt pull was not up to spec. Outperformed by a $100 CYMA L96 in terms of bolt pull with same spring. My ssg10 has a really scratchy bolt pull, and halfway through the pull it does this grinding sound and gets almost stuck. I checked for obstructions to no but it was clear. I sanded the cylinder a bit but it didn’t make a difference. I’m buying some file tools to try to sand down the trigger stop nub like you did. I really hope it works.
@GaijinAirsoft9 ай бұрын
and? how is it now?
@Boris_The_Turtle8 ай бұрын
@@GaijinAirsoft I improved it but I am still not very impressed with its pull. Maybe it's because I am sanding it down conservatively, I use it in the field and then I see where the wear is and then continue to file it down to make sure I am doing it in the right area. I feel that there is still some friction in other areas of the bolt assembly that contributes to the bolt getting bogged down in certain stages of the pull. I would attribute this to the fact that it is engineered with such tight tolerances. Everything is tightly packed together with no wiggle room whatsoever. This is probably why the cheaper CYMA L-96's bolt still feels much smoother.

Hello there! I just finished doing what you recommend in the video. The plastic sleeve seems to do a nice job, but there is one problem. When I cock the gun, if I don't keep the cylinder perfectly straight while pulling, it feels like it's scratching really ugly on the spring guide stopper. In other words, if the cylinder touches the spring guide stopper while racking the gun, it feels like grinding 2 pieces of metal, even though I sanded them a lot. Would you have any advice? Thank you!
@GaijinAirsoft9 ай бұрын
i had the same where lots of more grinding and lubricating only the sides of where it scratches. if you also use teflon lubricator (not oil), it will also help but do not let it go into the cylinder.

Really helpful information if you are building your own VSR-10. The info on the AA Trigger is really important. My build I had to additionally do this: #1 File down the trigger guard to just below the top edge of the nub sticking out (if it was nott clear from the video) #2 Use the included grub screw from the AA Trigger kit to hold the Spring Guide Stopper if it won't hold itself in by pressure alone (e.g. AA Trigger in SSG-10 stays in without the grub screw but my JG Bar 10 needs the grub screw in). I don't know why but that is how you "fix" it if it falls out while you are testing it during installation.

Very helpful video series if you are upgrading a JG-BAR10. In general: if you are going to get one of these you are going to have to do a lot of upgrades from the start since it is a POS out of the box. If you want something usable while you gradually upgrade it, I would get a TM G-Spec or a SSG-10; much better quality parts and compatibility with upgrades. If you are comfortable building stuff just build your VSR-10 from scratch since you are going to replace almost everything anyway. I have gone both routes and would build it myself now if I wanted a new one.

Very helpful review and installation instructions. Definitely helped me to install mine. SSG10 (purchased May2023) - upgraded with Tridos 2.0 Pro + Scorpion weighted piston (no air brake or sorbo) + Maple Leaf Decepticon 70 bucking (warm climate). It is laser accurate now and the adjustment with the Tridos fixed all the hop up adjustments and accidental "changes" with the stock set up. The only "issue " I had was using the "drill guide": the hole is not aligned correctly so you will need to drill a larger hole. The Pro version stuff covers the larger hole so nothing to worry about. Highly recommended for your SSG10.

Hey that's a nice series of vids you've done here. I'm debating building one of these myself. What would you say the effective range is of your modified gun? What fps is it running at with .20? Will the electronic trigger allow it to only shoot in semi only, as a dmr in the UK required this. Many thanks richie.

recently got the jg bar 10 and I just ordered upgrade parts for it. Some of the best/most recommended parts are either unavaible in my country, will take a month to ship or are simply too expensive for my liking. F.ex crazy jet barrel 6,04 is almost 80eu and will take a month to ship, so I figured instead I'll get an action army 6,03 instantly and for half the price . AA zero trigger only comes with the piston combo, but the price is ridiculous ~160eu.. so I got the maple leaf zero trigger 90 eco version for 60eu and piston seperately for 40eu. Got the autobot hop up bucking 70 degrees for cheap and a cheap AA m170 spring. Got the AA hop up chamber and spring guide. All in all, the initial cost, incl. the rifle, would've been ~425eu and I brought it down to ~315eu and will (hopefully) still get a decent build. Also first time ever attempting to build an ASG, so idk what I'm doing and if this will actually work Edit: typos duh

@@GaijinAirsoft so an update. The trigger unit does not fit, I had to bore through the screw that got stuck in a hole. Now I'm not sure if they will refund me money it's a little bit scratched up and the hole thats been bored through is kind of damaged.. now I'm stuck using 90 degree piston with 45 degree trigger and not sure if that's a good idea..reloading is little rough... not talking force wise, the cylinder sometimes doesnt go all the way back easily and I have to force it. Still couldnt check the hop up.. now I'm wondering if it wouldnt have been better to just buy an ssg10..
