Just to mention how good and how sensitive the diagnostic system is, my UK version doesn’t have the spring release and upon opening to renew my bucking, it chewed up my original EBB piston and spat it around the lower gear box. No more EBB till I find stock somewhere :-(. The gun stopped firing. After sd run it said the gears were at fault. After stripping and obtaining a magnifying glass, the tinniest fibers of orange nylon were stuck in the deepes part of the compression gear/piston cocking gear teeth. After cleaning it out, re oiling and reassembling, it fires perfect again. The point of the story is the gun felt resistance to an unmeasurable amount of nylon so much so it ceased operation until investigation was made to save any further damage. I love my Komodo. And anyone who says it’s not worth it hasn’t used it. Period. Great video man, and good talking to you on Facebook!

I have just got one of these, thank you for all the videos. I want to lock it to DMR, I think I will drill and tap the selector for my UK choice, any other opinions??
@GaijinAirsoft2 жыл бұрын
if you want it to return to normal, you can drill from outside to lock the fire selecto, but keep in mind that in serious events, this will not be accepted. for that you need to lock it on the trigger box

Hi Gaijin: I just upgraded mine, I want to share with you some test I perform maybe will be useful for u. While I was waiting for the parts, I made several tests with the stock cylinder and different barrels 215mm, 265mm and 375 all standard ICS and new, (I did not have the 407mm yet). With the short barrels it had a very high ratio of 2.8 and 2.3 approx and with higher bb weights (0.30, 033, and 0.36) it obtained more energy especially 0.30 and 0.33. But when going to 375mm the ratio was 1.7 and with large bb weights, it had less energy (being better at 0.25 and 0.28). I did the tests with different springs from SP90 to SP120 and some more to verify results. I assumed that following the evolution with the 407 and less ratio it would continue to worsen for high bb weight. So I kept all the modification, which you mention except for the cylinder, mounting a Lailax (Prometheus) type B 401-450m. And cylinder and cilinder head I use master mods. After passing the crono I have obtained better results with the high weights. (hop-up set to 0) 0.20 - 427FPS 0.28 - 376FPS 1.83J 0.33 - 347FPS 1.84J 0.36 334FPS 1.86J I haven't been able to do a range and accuracy test yet. Do you have any data with your configuration to compare? a A greeting
@GaijinAirsoft3 жыл бұрын
Hi, this DMR was the first ever rif i upgraded and i remember making a data sheet for couple of configurations. I will try to find it and share with you. but eventually it all came down to accuracy for me. why I am saying that: our joule limit here is 1.8 and I made my setup to reach that (barrel and hop-up combination)since at the end the last thing to do is changing your spring and cylinder to fit which do not play a role in accuracy. so what i was focused on was the accuracy, to find the best fit and then bring the power up to 1.8 joules. I am not sure if this was the very best was of doing it but it worked for me well. 😊

Hi, how do you lock it to single fire mode? (semi auto) Can it be done by modifying the selectorplate?
@GaijinAirsoft2 жыл бұрын
you can do it electronically (need to search a deff video for that) or mechanically with a screw from outside. this will be enough for daily games but cant be done in a milsim...
@Boogje762 жыл бұрын
@@GaijinAirsoft ok thnx for the reply. Nice video’s by the way 👍🏻 I prefer by electronics or another ‘invisible option’ A screw on the outside is not preferable for me. It ruins the looks 😊 is it an option , Like regular replicas; adjusting the selector plate would do the trick? I can’t find anything about it on the web 😒
