How do I select a note without it deleting it or having to right click it and have the menu pop up? Also how do you bend all the notes at once? If i'm bending a 20 note chord there is no damn i'm way i'm doing that to each note individually.

How do you deal with avoiding noise complaints in an apartment with the monitors? I’ve hesitated to buy any since I’m worried I will annoy people
@kylechumchal
@kylechumchal 2 ай бұрын
When I was in the apartment I mixed pretty low (65-70db). Thankfully my neighbors were really chill too. I think as long as you aren’t going much louder then you would watch tv you should be fine.

With regards to Monitoring, check out the 'Keep Latency' setting in Live 12, might make this redundant.

You can use track delay on the track you are monitoring and set it to the amount of latency you are experiencing and it will compensate for it while recording

Kyle Chumchal nice video. How do you draw a straight line when editing audio volume - not midi notes but say I want to lower volume by a few db from -6 to -9. How do I do that with the drawing tool - or do I HAVE to use breakpoints?
@probably_a_person

Very helpful and to the point, thanks. I found I prefer the "midi ctrl + pitch bend" for when I'm just going for a certain "feeling" rather than precise notes

All three of them sound good: The Fruity Soft Clipper was crisp and perfect The Knock Clipper made it sound a bit wider, brighter, and more distorted. The Glue Compressor sounded like the Knock Clipper, but with more distortion and a bit less punch (transience).
