I never like the idea of people calling Stannis a kinslayer. Stannis and Renly situation is basically same as Daeron II and Daemon Blackfyre. Renly did treason and treason is punishable by death.

She banished Jorah bkoz he knew about poisoned vine(she would be dead if he didn't) and later she took in service Varys and Lanister, what? "ignorant whore of a westerner" Kraznys was right lol.

This really is a great setup for Dany's next chapter. Especially the talk about Astapor's defenses being Dothraki and the slave economy itself, two things that won't trouble Dany one bit.

Pretty funny that they were fine discussing the war with Arya in the room until the subject became "Her mom might have been seduced." The fight between between Arya and Gendry here feels a little... Hmmm, I dunno.. When compared to the "fighting" that occurred last chapter. It's more innocent than Jaime and Brienne, but still feels very meaningful. Maybe it's not about sexual attraction, but just physical comfort? They can both let down their guard when they're with each other. I can't imagine anyone else being allowed to grab her hands and tickle her (except maybe Jon?). I love Gendry and Arya together, they're such great foils for reach other. Also, wow, that's a heck of a lotta prophecy in, like, two sentences. And it all but confirms that Euron killed Balon, which is not something I thought ever got confirmed...

Yeah, that transition from talking about childish experiments into a swordfight definitely primes the reader for some innuendo. The first half of this chapter is so delightful with the innuendo and excitement, but god, the second half is so nightmarish. As I was listening I thought to myself "It's as though Brienne hasn't faced the reality of how much danger she's in." But only when I heard Jaime say "They only mean to scare me" did it occur to me that _Jaime hasn't faced reality either_! He's still making plans about gold, and promises via his family connections, not realizing that the unreasonable and monstrous men his father unleashed can't be reasoned with, and will do monstrous things, and there's nothing he can do about it. Damn, that's some good writing.

Funny how Cersei chapter probably has Maester Pyschelle at his best. He's kind of right.

I like to imagine beneath the helmet of Robert Strong aka The Mountain is 1) head of Ned Stark connected to The Mountain's body or 2) the combanation of multiple faces of different people and mostly women. Kinda like Frankenstein but with women's faces stitch together.

Horse: We appreciate and value you. This should always be a fun little side project so no need to apologize. You got a lot going on, so take time for yourself. We will be here to hear you when ever you post. My freshman year was nearly 30 years ago and my children are only a few years behind you. Take your time, take care of yourself, be inquisitive, make good choices, oh and call your grandparents/ extended family (sorry, the dad in me).

I wonder, Is Maegi confirmed to be pronounced with a hard "G" rather than soft in this chapter? Since the people of Lannisport couldn't pronounce her name, they used the word that the people who came with the woman on the ship called her(something to do with sorcery) until it became Maggy 10 years later.

The legend has returned. Great reading, I reallly like this chapter. The Warrior's Sons finally arrive, just as based as they always have been. Cersei's "old dream" sounds eerily similar to Ned's in the first book...

Man... My my son was just asking me what happened to that KZbinr who did ASOIAF audiobook chapters that I was always listening to... I said, "Son, he was last seen ahorse." Our love for the equestrian reading lifestyle shall never die... But rise again, harder and stronger.

I need you to understand something, until I saw this video, I had feared one of two things. 1) The project was abandoned. And 2) Something had happened to you. This video came to me as a relief, not because of your continued efforts to continue reading, but because you are well.

I’ve been deep into the lore for a few years now. Actually gotten pretty tired of it all with the Winds release seeming more and more to be a false prophesy. But this channel stumbled across me in the spring and it’s almost like listening to the story for the first time again. The character voices and the tone everything is so well done. I listen to the new chapters at work usually within 10 minutes of posting so I’ve been worried something was amiss. So happy to hear you’re doing alright and always looking forward to the next chapter. What is dead may never die.
