You hit the track enough and push those limits but by bit, you will eventually do what you just witnessed. I remember the first time i got up on the back wheel and how i am today are worlds apart. The first time you kak yourself but you either have that feeling inside you to push that bit more or you learn to ride and stay chilled on two wheels.
