What are the chances on getting tips to back the bike into a corner like you? That was pretty cool.
@abikeanditsboy3449 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, this kind of content is awesome for the novice. Getting the lines down is critical and a lot of novices don’t know why. Things like picking braking markers, turn in points, where to look, and a biggie body position and what to do with your feet. All that stuff is important for a novice to build their skill and learning it from someone who’s proven they know what they’re talking about, what could be better?

Josh, when you are editing your 360 videos, trying to keep your helmet in the middle of the screen and keep the horizon flat across the middle of the screen. If you watch your videos, the horizon is all over the place. Auto mode on the software needs help sometimes (actually a lot of the time). I think you will like the results.

LOVE THESE. Always appreciate your riding tip videos Josh🔥🔥I know a Superbike racers schedule is packed but I feel like most of your viewers appreciate these videos too because its something you don't watch once. Keep em coming, I think It would be great if you could make content similar to Sylvain Guintoli with in depth racer tips for the guys who don't really have mentors or track day coaches out there.

Josh herrin you are my favorite motorcycle racer, with a great personality and family. Hope they can get the v4r to work for you like the v2 did and bring home another champion

Love the video, I recently subscribed, and I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos. For years, I have watched MotoGP, never gave too much attention to MotoAmerica. Started this 2023 season, my kids and I enjoyed watching you at Daytona! I usually go every year for the 200. You’re the man, keep it up brother.

Insta360 takes great images, but that mount was shaking like mad. It is really hard to figure out what would be a good mouting setup for a track bike. That's the main reason I haven't gotten an Insta yet.
@Jjguthrie2993 Жыл бұрын
Great stuff!! Please keep coming with the tips. I would love if y'all had a series that was kind of "this is the order of things to work out". For example, first is lines, next is flowing on the bike, next is throttle control, foot position, eyes, etc. I don't think that's the order or anything but one episode per topic would be sickkkk

As someone who has been to trackdays where I've been comically dusted by Rocco Landers and Ezra Beaubier, I'd absolutely ride a trackday to see a MotoAmerica guy take crazy B-lines all over the place and still be 15 seconds faster than everybody. Or be humbled by that girl Kayla who is probably faster than most literbike trackday heroes whilst on a small twin.

I RLLY wish you guys would start giving some advice for us super advanced riders I’m definitely not a beginner anymore, but I’m also not pro level either Us in the middle guys want to improve tooooo

I wanna see some stuff like: “How to maximize tire grip on corner entry while braking hard” “How to exit a turn AFAP (as fast as possible) using all available rear tire grip” “How to out-break the guy next to you” “How to increase corners speed to drop them lap times” “How to drag elbow (shoulder?)” “How to overtake at race pace”

Hey Man! I am a 56 year old R6 track day intermediate rider. Solid advice!! Ask a coach. That is why they are there. I would love to see you at a Track Day Winner event at NCM. John Cook. YCRS doesnt teach backing it in. Hence, King Kenny would not be a guest coach. I would love for you to show me how to back it in. I never use my rear brake.
@radrcer Жыл бұрын
Brake less and carry more cornerspeed. Any decent squid can brake hard and accelerate in a staight line. Honestly i feel all track clubs and coaches purposely dont tell you the right way to keep you coming back to pay. Like California politicians “fighting” homelessness

Are you sliding after downshifts or just straight up Hooligan breaking going into those corners - inquiring squids want to Know !
@thepsychicpeach8425 Жыл бұрын
I feel like it's a combination of both. He's doing it to get a good shot and most probably isn't focusing on carrying good speed or lines. So most likely hooligan braking. Idk tho I just watch his downshifts and right foot to see what he's relying on most.

See if you can get a GoPro sponsorship instead, insta360 is pretty awful for image stability. I never knew it was this bad. Image sharpness looks great, but they really need to do something about the stability. (regardless of selfie stick.) GoPro MAX is just better.
@joshherrin Жыл бұрын
This was because the track was very bumpy and there are not a lot of good spots to mount the camera on the V2.
