Instead of moving each ball to wherever it has to go in the tower, pull out your ghost in each area in the correct order instead. It is much faster and less time consuming. In DSC, you can get rid of the atrax orb on yourself if your operator and have ricochet rounds. In last wish on morgeth encounter, you can get rid of the first taken essence debuf by dropping under the bridge and do the joining allies screen

9:00. You can actually go further in than that! In the back of the next room above some shelves the passage keeps on going. In fact, you can actually go from the hanger all the way to the main tower area near Zavala through the passage ways. Ever noticed that small rectangular opening above the big fans? Well you can get in there and look out at other people from the inside.

All of this was added as part of the Leviathan quest. The room with the window that overlooks Zavala is Banshee's workshop/store room where he keeps all the guns that aren't in his shop. The locker on the wall with the doors is where we originally got the Leviathan bow from.

Adding to the mantling silence and squal, you can also snipe incoming rockets from enemies, only done this once when trying to snipe an invader in gambit. Shot at each other from across the map and the rocket blew up mid air half way. We were both very confused trying to figure out what just happened.

A small thing but you can cancel any charged warlock grenades at any point by tapping the sprint button. You don't even have to be moving, just tap the button at any point during the animation and it'll cancel the charge. Doing this with a bow in your hands makes it invisible until you fire it or sprint

Swinging a sword or sliding towards any enemy with a stomp mechanic can lessen or even entirely negate the knock back effect. Many (not all) bosses in strikes and gambit can be staggered simply by meleeing. You can keep a primeval stunlocked for the entire damage phase by having one person melee it (charged or not) the whole time, as long as it's not the meatball

You reload weapons much faster if you are pressing the reload button as your last round comes out. Otherwise there is a delay before the game recognizes the mag is empty and automatically starts the reload. Works with rockets and grenade Launchers too, tho special GL's can at times lag out.

Yep! Its a holdover from destiny 1 trick sparrows. The midair tricks were actually what made them special as the other older sparrows were actually slightly faster but the trick sparrows allowed for regenning the strafe boosts which mattered in srl.

I do miss it as well… Yet I’m sure you do not know this : Bottom tree Dawnblade Warlock will sometimes activate the explosion while you play with Jotun in PvP and PvE. It’s not the main impact that triggers it but the small puddle of flames at the impact. If the target is walking away or if he is near someone, it triggers more often. Usually, if I recall how to do, I’ll send a video if someone wants some proof. I’m on console, I know I can send it to KZbin but I forgot…

@@ShadowDestiny Another fun fact: If you do this in the tutorial when you spawn into the tower in the Hangar and there is a security wall in the center that is a load point, you will be glitched to be able to eternally collect the welcome rewards excluding the gift in Zavala's office. It will reset if you force quit the game and it's not really useful because you only get access to blue weapons. If you want gunsmith materials and glimmer, there are better ways, but this is fun to do in the beginning of the game or if you are really thirsty for gunsmith materials for some reason.

Short hint to the lost sector opening of exotic engrams (10:23): Be aware, you will always get, the armor piece, which is rewarded for the master lost sector on that day. For example: legendary lost sector rewards leg armor, master lost sector rewards a helmet armor. If you open a exotic engram on that day you will get a helmet. Changes on the next day the loot from the master lost sector again.

All new exotics will be collected into the postmaster. This only works with engrams in the postmaster. If an exotic engram in the postmaster that have a power-level of 0 usually this is an enhancement core. I hope this helps.

@@spooda1237 you fill up your engram inventory (10 slots) after you get an exotic engram it will be sent to your postmaster, once it is in the postmaster you can accept it any day and it will grant you whatever reward that the master lost sector is dropping that day. Ex: if you pick up an exotic from a legendary or master lost sector (it doesn’t matter which one you pick it up from) and the reward from the master lost sector for that day is a helmet, you can cash in your engram for a helmet that day. Suppose you are looking for the mantle of battle harmony on warlock, you can wait a few days until the master lost sector is rewarding chest pieces and turn it in on that day to have a chance at getting the mantle.

Some additional unknown tips: For Warlocks: If you play top tree dawn, when you use your grenade before activating your Super, then your Super will be slightly extended. This works in both pve and pop. Pve tip: If you stand on a blight ball you don’t take damage. For example if you do the Lake of Shadows strike you see those blight orbs creating those blight bubbles. Inside those bubbles you take damage. However if you jump on any of these orbs directly you don’t take any damage. While standing on those orbs you can shot those orbs easily without taking any damage. This crucial while doing it during a nightfall on grandmaster difficulty. Pvp tip: This might be fixed by now but it is or was a cool fact that there are many glitch spots on almost every pvp map. But there is one that is extremely ridiculous, so it’s worth mentioning. On Dead cliffs for example there is a tree in the background you can reach and stand on the tip of it. This tree is between Zone A and C, in the far back. The easiest way to reach it is using a Warlock with top tree Dawn. If you mange to reach it you can get a free Sniper kill since the spot is far away ad almost nobody expects it. Especially if you are wearing a white shader on your gear you can blend in perfectly in the light grey sky background. Unfortunately it’s very unlikely you can reach it twice in a ow plus after the first kill you enemy will assume you there but for one kill it was worth doing it (especially when you hit that clip hehe ;) Goofy yet epic tip: This works in both pve and pvp. Eager’s edge is a fun sword perk where you can slam people to the wall. However you can combine this sword perk with any of your Super. After you lunge forward with your heavy attack you can use your jump for momentum control and then using your Super afterwards. It was first accomplished by Stasis Hunters but it works perfectly with Well of Radiace on warlocks and in theory with any other Super with any class and subclass.

A couple here: First up the Shocker Grenades thrown by Fallen dregs can be shot to destroy them, the explosion does no damage to you. Second and one that is my own discovery: Your Lift/Glide/Double Jump energy only recharges AFTER you have fully completed a mantle animation, if you start one always make sure you complete it. A bonus one that serves no purpose: if you immediately start sprinting after a finisher and you have a gun that you hold like a rifle there's an animation glitch that looks like your guardian is re-shouldering his rifle, imo looks very cool and 'tactical' might be good for montages.

Quick tip on the Tower Ball Puzzle. If you just pull your ghost out in order of the ball locations it will count as completed. Really helps when you got people stealing the ball lol

in regards to sparrow tricks to return boost meter, the same works if you do flips. i ALWAYS do barrel rolls when i get the chance because it's cool, but you need to land directly flat to get the boost back. and no, you can't stack the barrel roll with the emote, unfortunately. for the jump in Dares of Eternity, the cannonman (that's what they're called in Halo 3 forge mode, at least) doesn't seem to account for DI- directional input, to borrow a Smash Bros term- so the odds are that if you hold the backstep input while approaching the obstacle, you'll make it anyway because you're technically a little further back than you expect to. you can also time your jump juuuuust right as a Warlock to be able to land on top of the ring, though i haven't personally tried with other classes. there is, indeed, an option to completely hide the chat on console. there's just not an option to restrict it to only in-game chatter, or clear the chat, though. makes it really, really annoying, imo. the secret checkpoint room you mentioned in the Tower between the main dropzone and the Hangar has a path you can go further from- just look for an opened roof tile in a storeroom attached. this was part of the original Leviathan's Breath quest, and to my knowledge, at the end of the path you can still see the thing caged up in banshee's pad. i'm at least 80% sure the hand cannon analog trigger thing works for Forerunner, too, which is odd because it's a sidearm. perhaps it uses the same base code as a hand cannon? something i know good and damn well people don't know is that if you do two light attacks and then a heavy with the Hive ritual swords, it does a special animation that does... probably more damage. i always see people ape it out spamming heavy slams, but in activities like Altars of Sorrow, where you need to kill wizards with the swords, the light-light-heavy combo will kill them in one go, special shield and all. while it's fairly common knowledge by now, some shaders change lights, and some make them animated. Basalt Toxic and Oiled Gunmetal can make the lights on Trials of the Nine weaponry change colors to RGB fading, but this doesn't work on every shader, sadly. one shader i know of that does change the lights on everything, however, is either Oiled Algae or Vintage Timber. they both look similar and they appear side by side in the menu, but one of them makes lights on everything i've seen so far fade in and out, and it's really cool. it also works on the S'phtish Robes warlock chest ornament, giving the crystal in the middle a strange blue fading glow. i also found that one of the newer shaders with this season or so, a red and white one with a carbon fiber texture, actually completely colors over the lights on the seasonal hunter helmet. could work on others, i dunno. if you swap weapons but don't want to lose a buff (cough cough ravenous beast), if you're quick enough, you can un-switch back to the weapon, because the buff doesn't technically go away until the stowing animation is fully competed. tried to think of some small little tidbits that i could have added on to the vid, but not a whole lot came to mind. maybe i'll come back to this if i remember any.

You can avoid falling damage with a sword, just do a light swing (R1) just before landing. As long as the swing animation is still playing when you touch the ground, any damage will be negated, *no matter how high you fall from, nor how fast you're falling* . If you time it really well you can even cancel the "landing lag" of the swing animation and keep running just as you land. This works with ANY sword.

This video reminded that the Skiff Mine Launchers that are destructible have practically NEVER been used since D1, at least in my experience. It's also funny that, in Season of the Lost when in the Shattered Realm Scorn Bossfight, the Skiff that delivers the tank is actually not Scorn-aligned, so the Skiff will actually fire at the Tank as it's dropping it
