Just to say this rq for all the death note fans LIGHT is not a manipulator he is just insanely smart. However he can manipulate but the difference between a manipulator and someone who manipulates is that a manipulator is always in that view. Light however doesn’t do this the whole series however people like Lelouch is a manipulator as he made a plan for almost the whole story that is a manipulator. He even planned his own death Ayanokoji is a manipulator as he also plans out everything even to the point on how they will react.
