Oil leaks on these cars can come from a few spots..engine pan, back of the engine between the engine and the transmission, front crank seal etc.. you could spray everything down with brake cleaner and try and find the leak that way..don't forget to subscribe 😉

I tried doing a Hyundai i10 rear OS caliper today, had the tool from Amazon (Nielsen) but given the state of the disc and pads that came off it I had my suspicions the caliper was knackered. I''d seen vids of folk doing this holding the caliper in their other hand, I opted to remove the carrier and rotor, then bolt the carrier back on, then the caliper with one of the caliper bolts and had to wrap a strap around it so I could put all my body weight through the tool and it still only moved a fraction(had the master cylinder cap loosened)...so, as suspected seems the caliper needs replaced. I also had one of those small multi headed Silverline box tools that goes on a 3/8" drive and tried to see if it needed to go counter clockwise but there's no luck there....(This is a sh*t system reminds me of stupid easy slip off shimano bottom bracket tools of the octalink/square drive era... need a ton of force to move them but the hard part is keeping the tool pressed into place and it not slipping out and wrecking everything!)

@@klowny1969 I had another go at it the next day, tried easing off the caliper bleed nipple and whether that helped it moved back in ok.... I've ordered the replacement caliper anyway to fit just in case it is sticking, so after test running it I could tell there was a tiny amount of heat in the wheel, the NSR piston screwed back in so easily in comparison and there was zero heat on that wheel. Also quickly jacked it up after the test run to see how easily the wheel spins and it seems ok...

On some cars you can leave one bolt in each of the brackets and turn them to the side, that way the bar doesn't drop, and it's less work for you.

My 08 Subaru my 08 Subaru tribecas rear bushings are shit. The upper outer control arm bushing is a split bushing. I’ve done bushings before but this is the first time I’ve had to do one of those. This is the only video I’ve found that shows what to do unless ya have a 400.00 split bushing extractor tool. But your bad one wasn’t a split bushing and mine is. So I’m thinking I can burn it then cut and chisel the casing out like ya did on the first one then I can press the other half out. Any Davis for setting the camber correctly on my lateral link. It’s one that has the oblong shape washer that goes over a square part on the bolt so it’s fixed and then ya turn the bolt and it adjusts the arm in or out. I didn’t pay attention to where is was set when I took the old off unfortunately. So is there an easy way to know where it needs to bet set at?

Folks I can NOT get holes and pins to align ,. I bought 3.5 front , 3 rear level kit for my 2017 Silverado,. Honestly I have had pure HELL outa this level kit,. The kit is KSP brand and I have already gone thru two sets upper control arms, now I’m on my 3set bushing for the last set uppers I installed,. They’re fuking junk!!! Last about 3months,. I’d put factory uppers bak on but at the time of installation I gave them to my neighbor for his truck,. He still using them😂,. Bak to the rear block installation,. What could I be doing wrong, they won’t line up(holes and pins on blocks /leaf spring)??? I’m to the point of trashing this KSP kit and ordering the Grunion lift,. Cost is more but looks hella more stable!!!

If you drill the 3 access holes, there is absolutely no reason to remove those outer rivets. Those hold the regulator bracket. I know some "kits" include a motor bracket. But you can re use the one that's already in place. Last thing anyone needs to do is to get the regulator bracket out of whack when re bolting it into place. I think others have chimed in already about knocking off those large rivets. Guys, (and gals) you don't need to remove those. Thank you though for the video, I've never done the GM window motor before in my 40+ years of working on cars. Lucky I guess :)

When i saw this video it reminded me , man i have a job to do. Change a stripped wheel stud on the rear hub on 2013 Kia Optima. I've been driving for weeks with 4 bolts holding the wheel.🤡🤡🤡 I hope somehow i could maneuver and install the new stud only. Not having to change the whole bearing-hub assembly. Judging by the video footage it's possible on this Subaru. But on the Kia's , i'll see only when i remove the brake disc.
