Tomo-cho for Ponyo, you can access without a car. Tomo is located Fukuyama-city in Hiroshima pref. and it takes about 3.5h from Tokyo to Fukuyama station by Shinkansen (bullet train) and take bus from Fukuyama station to Tomonoura, and it takes about 20~30 min. Tomonoura is old sea side town and houses from Samurai era, are preserved, then you can enjoy the town. Anyway, your point of view seems to be very interesting. I like it !

Most of these places can be accessed through public transit, the one's near Shimoyoshida, and Yamanashi Station are very easy. While places like Lake Motosu and Minobu are a bit trickier but still possible. The map I followed can be found here: www.patreon.com/posts/yuru-camp-anime-83148080

Shelter is one of the most legendary place for famous and small bands in the area or Tokyo or even Japan, I guess it's understandable how they find it troublesome if people just block the entrance because they wanted to take a picture of "Starry from Bocchi the Rock"

WOW. I was just saying to a friend, yuru camp was the first and only anime that "felt" like Japan to me. (i've taken almost a 2 month vacation there). After hearing that my friend suggested an anime, and it was the typical romanticized anime japan that didn't feel like japan. I was like no. Yuru camp is like "boring real life japan. Vending machines everywhere and mom and pop shops japan" I was also saying how beautiful the artwork was and googled an example. This was the first result i got with "yuru camp fuji" .... NO WONDER it feels like japan! they're all real locations! It's funny, I discovered yuru camp because I randomly came across a figure of nadeshiko holding cup noodles and instantly reminded of my trip to japan (also probably helped that I got addicted to curry cup noodles there an always asked friends to bring some back for me when they went LOL --- they're not sold or imported where I live) When I googled where she came from and watched the anime... DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The entire anime reminded me of my vacation. They really understand what tourists like, remember, and what "feelings" they remember and how to induce them.

Just wanna leave a comment for the KZbin algorithm, so uhm…. ….fun fact unlike the English title „your lie in April“ which is a direct translation of the Japanese one, this anime is called „Sekunden in Moll“ here in Germany, which translates to „Seconds in minor scale“ which probably refers to the songs they play lol.

Oh my gosh, the things I would do to go there… The Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions series is my favorite anime and piece of media *of all time.* I remember seeing that place in the show a long time ago when I was younger and thought, “this is beautiful, imagine if this place was real!” And Lo and behold! This place and all the other places from the show are on my bucket list now. Thank you for this. This brought back a lot of memories watching the show. Also imo I don’t think Shichimiya is bad.
