I love the show’s architecture! Currently learning neoclassical architecture styles and seeing the opera house was very cool! The pattern “roof” is the pediment above the columns which has a similar structure to Ancient Greek and Roman buildings.

The "racist" fish statue is a vandalized version of Hans Christian Anderson's The Little mermaid statue located in Copenhagen Denmark. It's a very famous tourist attraction and the person who vandalized it was being very disrespectful. Back on topic I think it's interesting how many animes trend to be set in Germany if their not set in Japan. This series, Attack on Titan, Princess Tutu, Tanya the evil. This series also probably takes a bit of inspiration from English culture since a lot of famous spy stories are set in England. Most notably James Bond which the dog character shares it's name with. Along with Anaya being known as 007.

You got the 1st part of Hauptbahnhof correct, Bahn, is like ban-ana or 'bawn'. So bawn-hoff (little breathing space in-between). And the ß is a sharp-s (Eszett). It's just a double 'ss'. So 'strahsse' as in 'street'.

German here "ß" is the Geraman character for "ss" I really like the SpyXfamily Anime but I kinda prefer the manga. You see in the manga it gets pretty clear that the story is set in East Germany in the 70s (there's so many referances to the DDR) not just from the story itself but also by the visuals, where as in the anime, they just threw in random european buldings which, as someone who has read the manga before, i found kinda annoying.

Yeah for me it’s the fact that Loid takes a train in the first episode that is clearly a German steam locomotive (not sure exactly what class but it being black with red wheels and running gear is indicative of it being built either in Germany or in one of the countries Germany conquered during the war) and is pulling what looks like relatively early postwar European rolling stock that seals the deal that the story takes place in, plus the diplomats in the very first scene who are riding in what is clearly supposed to be a Chaika (basically the Soviets got hold of like a 50’s Chevy BelAir, reverse-engineered it, and made some slight modification (notably replacing the egg rate grill found on the BelAir to, well, something else and adding forward protrusions to the front of the front chrome fender) so as not to completely steal the Americans’ homework. The show very definitely physically takes place in east Germany even if the architecture is radically different from what would have actually been built in East Berlin.

@@RockerTopper-hh3ru Im also talking about things like the American schoolbus and not just the architecture that randomly appears in the anime. I simply don’t understand why they changed things like architecture when the manga already had the correct buildings. Like for example the manga featured a Berlin opera, meanwhile in the anime they changed it to the Munich opera. Why? Like I am not annoyed by the show not being totally correct. I simply don’t understand why they changed things that where correct in the manga to things that are not correct in the anime

I know SPY x family live action is coming after they made success on One piece live action , I am sure some company like amazon will make live action of spy x family with author supervising if they want to make good live action show of spy x family
