But you should look into emailing: Training Center Yorktown, Machinery Technician school (MK rating at U.S. Coast Guard A-school) a 13-week technician focused school. I was a former MK got out last year and learned all about diesel boat engine mechanics and every function needed to know about how a boat operates and the force behind it etc. It would be a great educational video, and maybe you’d also learn the whys to your questions in your head. I’m sure the Public Affairs team wouldn’t mind working out something with you! They have also partnered with Smarter Every Day in the past.
