Not gonna lie i was a pretty oblivious kid and had no idea there was a whole ass story with zombies. I just thought they were fun alternatives to the campaign and multi-player. And with the easter eggs I just thought they were something else to do while killing zombies.

To be honest it doesn't make sense why Ultimis Richtofen is dressed as a Nazi lore-wise. He was against the idea of Group 935 working for Germany. Maxis should be the one wearing that uniform.

Fun fact: The hellhounds in Shi No Numa on the ps3 version are scarier than the other ports. When the dog round starts, you hear thunder and howls.

The zombie menu is scary indeed… though the room is so secure that you likely will not be eaten… pity though that you are likely to just starve to death strapped to a chair watching the world burn. Also… i think you are hooked to an IV…. So…. You are going to take longer to die than normal.

My thing is like, what does this have to do with the Blacks Ops Campaign/main story. They could have brought in Masons Son or Grandson with some type of futuristic setting talking about what when down in 2025. Brought back some characters and it with a completely new villain, and it would have been fine. They just made another Call of Duty game and slapped the title of “Black Ops III” on it😂

An extra reason for Verruckt being so frightening is because the asylum it's in, Wittenau Sanatorium, is a *real asylum* in Berlin, Germany, and in the present day a plaque sits at its entrance as a memorial to those who the Nazis tortured and killed in asylums like Wittenau.
