Agreed. Cold War at least had the feel and methods of First Gen Zombies. It made the attempt abd succeeded in some ways, but kind of fumbled in other areas. Still, it's far more favorable than all the others listed.

I like shi no numa reborn. It made the flow if the map a bit better, added pack a punch and an EE(though it was kinda basic though). I feel if they just spruced up the map a bit with a bit of stuff and put it into BO3 chronicles to replace the other shi no numa it would be pretty great

I am getting really tired of battle royale, even Fortnite. It’s so sweaty now that it’s hard to just play for fun. Now I just play single player games with co-op or plain single player. I hope zombies gets a good mode in Gulf War, zombies deserves better.

Why do people use Outbreak first month of popularity as a thing now. The reason it did so good was that fact that it was the only new content we got, Covid Lock down so stay at home, and Warzone players. I've seen no zombie player who wants outbreak to be im future cod games (cough DMZ players) 💀

You're just getting information wrong, treyarch is not working on war zone nor have they been pulled from zombies to work on war zone they're making their own game right now there's more than three studios that work on Call of Duty and the one that works on warzone is Raven software with the support of some other studios

I'm sorry but no you are the one getting information wrong. It was outright announced that Treyarch were involved with and generally overseeing MWZ. Because of this, a lot of people bought the game for zombies expecting good things. Treyarch were then quietly moved off the project without any kind of statement so that Activision could keep drawing in players based off Treyarch's good name despite them having no involvement after the first month of the game releasing. They did a bait and switch to scam players. Treyarch WERE doing MWZ until Activision decided to scam players. Feel free to watch the video MrRoflWaffles posted on the state of MWZ as he goes very in depth regarding the whole situation with Treyarch, their involvement, the shitty business practices and their quiet removal.

I'm telling you Cold War, Vanguard, and MWZ all had barely in development time, I'll give Cold War a pass because Treyarch was able to make a passable game during Covid. Vanguard was made in such a short time, and Treyarch didn't know how to use the IW Engine, so they had to learn during development time, and it was being made by multiplayer devs. MWZ seems like Activision just told Treyarch to make something quick based off of Outbreak.

It’s been rumoured that the zombies might have a 2 week pre release thing(like what they did for the campaign in one of the new MWs where people could play the campaign a week before the game’s release) which would imply that the zombies mode for the next CoD is, in their eyes, the best of what they have for this next CoD so if they’ve treated the zombies as they have for the past few years on this CoD then the other gamemodes will likely fail or just be meh

Treyarch is always being sidelined all to aid the other companies in Activision, Ravensoft and Infinity Ward. It's not too far fetched to see that Zombies is screwed at this point, Warzone and multiplayer will always be the priority and Activision's greed with microtransactions and live service will doom the mode completely until no one wants it anymore. Just stick to Bo3 and under. (Cold war and bo4 are cool too)

Cold War was great, I think it was judged too harshly since every Zombies has to fill BO3's massive shoes. Cold War was mechanically very good, even better than previous Zombies I'd even say. But Vanguard and MWZ are both dookie. Only played each one 2 or 3 times.

I say Cold War was a miraculously great addition to zombies. It made up for a lot black ops 4’s shortcomings, but sadly also doubled down on certain aspects like special enemy spams and overpowered shit. But it was still an enjoyable package with a sense of progression back. Sadly vanguard and MWZ are rushed soulless products thanks to activision

Die Maschine isn't a remake of Nacht, it adds way too much to it for that to be an accurate statement. With Die Maschine it's even a stretch to call it a reimagining as while it does contain all of the original play space of Nacht and adds to it, the Nacht part of the map isn't the focus of the map itself. The map only uses Nacht to represent part of what the Aether story did, a beginning where the outbreaks began. Nacht in Die Maschine is there to set part of the tone as you fight zombies trying to figure out what is going on.

No Black Ops 4 and Cold War were pretty great, Cold War especially considering it wasn't originally supposed to be Treyarch making it and they put together four great maps in a pretty short space of time. Yes, Outbreak was utter shit but contrary to popular belief, that wasn't the focus of Cold War. The round based maps they did release which was the same amount as any other game up to that point were great

Never understood why people hated Vanguard. It was fun. Had a lot of game modes. Mw2019 engine.the zombies was abysmal, but the story mode was engaging. Almost like halo odst.
