I love vintages and I would not consider that a mint watch. If it is hard to find is a “rare” watch in “original” condition. Just because you say so, doesn’t change the meaning of mint. A well versed enthusiast uses the English language properly.

Wow ive never seen a Doppia Lancetta with that dial configuration before. It looks crazy, gratz to the buyer, i have a friend that has a 13zn and its such an awesome watch, with one of the greatest chronograph movements of the XX century, no doubt.

I think it's disingenuous to use word "mint" to describe a watch with scratches and filth all over it, vintage or not. but I'd never make a buying decision based on words alone -- need to see photos, at least

Yeah I don't think Stallone brings any ownership provenance to the grand chime since you can't even say he wore it. It was simply an investment portfolio watch. Might as well remove the nameplate on the box. Maybe the fact its still in the seal balances out the value.

Sylvester Stallone done messed up. He is so banned from entering any Patek Philippe boutique on this planet. He won’t even be able to buy a strap! All that time and effort in applying and waiting a few years just to take delivery. Waste of time for Patek Philippe on man hours of design, build, assembly, and hand decorating this timepiece. Mr Stern is pissed and stated his displeasure with Stallone

I believe he was well aware of that happening. He said in one interview he no longer was no longer interested in collecting Patek's and more into Rolexes. If true or not, who knows. He's been selling a lot of stuff, houses and memorabilia. He ain't buying expensive stuff these days. Question is only is it by choice (aging) or financial problems (rumors of the reason he almost divorced).
