I own submariner watch, bought it in Iran in 1978. Still in perfect running condition. Now I can do a little research and hopefully find out what what she is worth.

Great that will fetch you some cash. *I used to be a collector, but I liquidated my collection to venture into real estate. In January, I acquired homes in Malibu for $45million, and the returns on investment far exceed what I earned as a collector.

How did you grow your portfolio to $45m, I'm impressed, I have a lump sum in the bank, the rates are not impressive so I'm moving it, what's your cash flow like?

I have a financial advisor (trader) she grows my liquid assets and I reinvest the weekly payouts back into real estate and long-term ETFs.

Great job Adam, thanks for taking us into the Ponti Collection and the Davidoff Brothers Shop. Very beautiful rare vintage watches. My favorite from Ponti was the AP C serial and from Davidoff I loved the Vacheron Constantin. Great episode.😊

Such a pleasure to hear from Mr Davidoff, not sure if he researched the watches before presenting to the camera or he had this knowledge prior but still very impressive to hear how knowledgeable he is for all the small details than only a true expert would know.

Daytonas are cool but that Longines was LIT. Vintage Crhonograps are the best for me. They had tons of style back then. Now they are too sporty for me. It's a shame they don't have a glass back to see that beautiful mechanism

Adam. I am leaving for Geneva this Friday. Do you recommend I visit the Ponti’s? As well, i just watched your video on watch shops in Geneva and the owners/stan showed you a number of vintage watches. Any idea of the price points of some of those watches? Any other recommendations are welcome.

He’s saying that 300 CHF back then is 1000 CHF now. So the watch cost today’s equivalent of $1150 or so. Of course its market value is much higher 😂

Those willing to waist their money in watches should do this: - find out the original price of the Patek you want to buy - go to the online US inflation calculator and find out how much those $$$ would have to be today to match inflation Very few watches make it and no watch produces income. I simply find it incredible that someone will spend 100, 200 K and more on a watch "hoping" it will increase in value to at least beat inflation, when an investment in real estate will beat inflation by 2X as much and produce monthly income. Oh well, can't teach donkeys to read! 😂😂😂
