@@4holidaysdesigns I was not at create. Inflation in Calif. is extremely high. So we spent our money going to Yosemite 2X , Palm Springs and staying with friends in Lake Tahoe. I am going to also open the DP advent calendar ahead. I will go on the DP site on Tuesday. hoping there is nothing for me to buy but that is very doubtful. I too cut the marquise folders, use all 4 sides but they buckle after 4 or so uses. I like my CC Midi and Cuttlebug better. I really enjoy when you post so a big thank you and HUGS

Clearly I buy too often to keep the dates straight! 🤗 Do you sew so you can hem the dress yourself? I am forever getting clothes altered. I could sew on regular cotton clothes but not with all these stretchy Knits. One day I will take it back up again but first I would need to make room to bring the sewing machine out! 😁💕

@ Unfortunately, I do not sew. I learned in Home Ec back in the day, but I never got good at it. I remember making a dress, and putting in a sleeve 4 time. 😔. I don’t even own a sewing machine. My mom is a great seamstress, but at 92, her eyesight is failing. I would need to find a place that does alterations.

Hi! The DP Marquise uses a folder system. When you purchase their dies, they typically give you the cutting folder be it A2 or slimline size. 😊

Hello! 🤗 It is folders. They ate thin and do not work in other systems. They are 4 1/4 by 6 1/4. I use it for lots of my small items, especially when I need multiples of tiny dies. I don't even go all the way thru. And they are inexpensive. They also have a long folder, q0 1/4 by 4 1/4. I use them until they are practically a circle! 😅💕

I caved and ordered it. 😊 As much as I was thinking about it (still thinking about it), I figured I’d regret it if I didn’t get it. I’ve looked at a few other advent calendars and easily decided I could live without the craft items inside. This one, not so.

Usually when a stamp is mimicked it has bad spelling. I’ve gotten some stamp sets before from Amazon and EBay where the spelling is wrong. I didn’t know stamps get duplicated until i watched an unboxing video once and a woman had her hands over the stamps she was trying to show to prevent people copying them. If this is the advent calendar from the UK creator then i did see that a calendar like this has been copied on Amazon, its been taken down but took the creator a long time to get Amazon to do anything.

Hello! 🤗 This Asvent was from Craftstash, but the US site. It is/was available on the UK site as well. I did not hear anything about a copy on Amazon, but nothing would surprise me these days. I have seen some creators like Gina K and Anna Grifdin talk about how bad the counterfeiters are. What a shame. I had no idea stamps were copied as well. Thanks for that info. 💕

@ awww i miss CraftStash. I’m from the UK and have seen Gina K’s videos before and really liked her videos. I stopped watching and buying craft stuff when i couldn’t afford to anymore. But it’s always nice to see stuff like this. Yeah, its a shame about counterfeit anything really. I only know that stamps get copied because of seeing it online and in videos and i know of the advent calendars getting copied on Amazon because of a tv show that covered it recently.

Hello Jenny! 🤗 Yes, last year by a big corporation. "Growth Corporation" is now the majority owner. You still see her as the face of CC and she still retains a %. I believe her husband stepped down from his role as well. I think that is why the changes on the site, logo, things like that. That is also why so many the the presenters were let go, according to them on FB. Hopefully nothing else changes. I still love many of their products! 💕
