Thank you for this. As a nurse who is worked in a OR for almost 20 years, I have taken on a new position as an Oncology Nurse. So much to learn until I start the position in 3 months. Love that resources are available so that I don’t go onto site “blindsides” and will know some terminology.

Hi! my mom just got diagnosed and we went to her first round of chemo today and it felt like a sign. Iʻve always wanted to be a nurse and going into the center and asking the nurses all sorts of questions sparked something in me. I think this is what I was meant to do! I just moved back home from college, (Iʻm in my freshman year) to help out at home, and Iʻve been watching all of the videos I can to learn about becoming an oncology nurse! your video was super helpful! let me know if you have any other videos where i could learn more from!

I currently doing program, finished all my didactics and been trying find preceptors, it’s hard I’m having to pay for preceptors, 3,000 quarter one still trying finalize preceptors for the other three classes, out over a year due to this, tried working with jobs but decided to leave, not realistic to work for a company and that makes you eligible to complete practicum at company. Having to reapply to Vocational Rehabilitation program do to inactive period. Found NPHub and now plan to start in the spring

Unfortunately, there are not any FP doctorate programs in my area and due to life factors, I can’t move. I saw some awful reviews on this school and began to question it but I feel better after watching this video.

Current student here...New requirements require you to see a MINIMUM of 5 patients in each age group (children, adolescents, adults, and older adults). It has been an absolute nightmare navigating the clinical practicum process with Walden. They do not help you AT ALL. I thought that once I found preceptors my life would get easier, but once I found preceptors and turned in my clinical applications, it got WORSE. The school does not care about me, the individual student. I actually feel like Walden is working against me.

I earned a 2.8 gpa in under, but I held a minor in Spanish in the beginning, in ROTC and single mom of two. Walden University is a joke. Look at all of the lawsuits against them. You will not graduate unless you spend thousands more than anywhere else and take twice as long. Go ANYWHERE else other than Walden. It is a rip-off. Let April in the Finance Office know and cancel your enrollment or apply elsewhere/anywhere.

I apreciate your transparency... and I look up many jobs website, many of the staff graduated from Walden... it really doesn't matter..

I am about to finish my first quarter of clinical for Psych NP, and I have to say that it was extremely hard to find a therapist for the second quarter clinical here in NC Charlotte area, which I'm starting in 3 weeks. So far, I have a 4.0 GPA no issues with Walden. Fully online is the way to go. I have a full-time job (night shift), two kids, and a wife (I'm a male). So this is very doable.

This just happened to me after 20 consecutive months of straight As. I average 95% in the class, but I got confused on a female/repro case Week 9 in the comprehensive neuro head to toe expected per the rubric. Plus, too many tech problems with iHealth with many changes from the practice and previous iHealth cases. This is not right. This Rule has to go. I am too old and broke as a single mom with few rural opportunities for preceptorship. I am sorry it happened to you and I am glad you can move on. Me, have to go back to the old grind minus 75k in student debt
