Funny how the audio quality is so bad for the subject matter. Ironic and amusing

Are there any publications to "SONOVOX Research Strand B" yet? Would love to read about that topic since i lost my voice in a way and made a lot of experiences myself, what it means, to have or not have a voice. I am 28 years old and a RRP patient for almost 3 years now. I had like 10 different voices since then or temporarly even none anymore right after surgery. I cant express myself anymore like i was used to and with that i am held back in a lot of different aspects.

This is amazing. I am currently taking the Google UX cert and was going over research methods and was like “how the hell can this even apply to a live Free to Play game?”. Completely different worlds. And to think this was 5 years ago - I really wonder what has changed!

good video but it would be fair to call it UX Research, not just UX. He is talking about UX research methods. I was expecting a different content :)

Was good to listen to! I do think his scope of mainstream ux seems limited to websites and single pieces of a journey. there’s design for entire services including nondigital touchpoints that involve extremely interesting research questions

Great introduction about the difference between traditional UX and UX for games. Exactly what I was looking for. I want in (namely to be a Games UX Designer). Who's hiring in Stockholm, Sweden?

12:55 @UXPA UK Ancient knowledge attained through ayurvedic practices in India, particularly Nada Yoga will offer a wealth of information. Also, have you read any of Dr. Stephen Porges work on the Polyvagal Theory? He offers some important insight into the regulation of the autonomic systems and activation through studies of heart rate variability and evolutionary circuits of the Vagus nerve. Very interesting.

It seems the speaker lacks enough knowledge in the field to make more realistic assumptions and talk with confidence. Moreover, I do not agree that people working with User Experience can't understand the field of Artificial Intelligence more deeply, it just isn't true and won't ever be. In fact, what I think our industry need is exactly the opposite of what the speaker advised. I do believe that people with more extensive skills in all sorts of areas are one of the most important things we must seek to bring better consistency and integration throughout the interaction between all these areas, therefore being able to provide better usability and experiences to users. Oh, one more thing: I do not think it is a good idea to just throw opinions like "UX designers are going to become obsolete in the next few years." If you aim to sound like an expert, you'll need more than that. Therefore, there is certainly a huge difference between that and what would be the proper way to say what you wanted to: "If you are lazy and don't study to hold your skills sharp, you'll probably end up not being a good UX designer." (which is obvious in every field, not only UX but anyway...)
