Typefaces visualise language and the way they are designed plays an important role on how we engage with the written content. Using The Readability Group’s principle of the three pillars of accessibility, the talk examines these pillars in more detail with the assistance of science and data.
Talk 2: Typography for Everyone - David Bailey - UX Principal, BBC.
The BBC recently introduced its new corporate typeface; BBC Reith. The initiative was spearheaded by David Bailey. He will tell the story of the Reith font family, its introduction and why a strong reading experience is such an important component of the BBC’s overall UX and visual design framework.
