Моисеевич лучше исполнял. Соломон тоже Они интересней Рубинштейна как личности и куда более техничные исполнители. Но вот Полонезы и Мазурки лучше Рубинштейна никто не исполнял. Ни у кого не было такого гордого звучания

Whenever I see and hear him I feel better about humanity. I adore this beautiful old man. I remember being young and knowing very little about Chopin and Rubinstein was just a name to me I bought an LP of him playing the Ballades on impulse ( and a tiny budget!) and when I put the needle on the LP I felt bliss and awe! A feeling that has never gone away.

Puro espiritu limpio del fragmento mas espiritual ante un piano. Neethoven abraza a la esperanza desde la dul XX ira; quien habia vonocido la tempestad del miedo se fundio en un alma poetica grande y universal. Es el mejor canto a alegria desde la serenidad, a ternura y el arte. Tenia que ser Benedetti quien llamara a ls puerta para que el corazon manifestase un latido de armonis tan magico e iniguslable como el de la bondad, la beleza y la genetosidad para escuchar esta maravilla. No hay dia que pueda olvidar uno |te fragmento para gozar, aun en el instante de cuanto es. Gracias por permitirme acceder a ello.

I know this is heresy, but I find Rubinstein's Chopin unsatisfying. The soft dynamics are mostly ignored--observe the beginning, which he does not play sotto voce as Chopin asks for. There is not much poetry in the second theme. Where Rubinstein excels is Beethoven, Spanish music, and especially Brahms, his favorite composer.

Johan au lieu Richter qui indique un nom allemand après une dilatation du temps qui développe une menace dans le temps présent ; il s'agit du champ magnétique cérébral humain qui tient rien ne se perd, rien ne se cré mais tout ce transforme.

@MarkGond - From Wikipedia: "The second movement [of BWV 1048] consists of a single measure with the two chords that make up a 'Phrygian half cadence' and although there is no direct evidence to support it, it is likely that these chords were meant to surround or follow a cadenza improvised by the harpsichord or a solo violin player. Modern performance approaches range from simply playing the cadence with minimal ornamentation (treating it as a sort of "musical semicolon"), to inserting movements from other works, to cadenzas varying in length from under a minute to over two minutes (...)."
