The barrel sizes are different, the sharks barrel circumfrance is wider creating a looser curl, while the Dyson barrel circumfrance is smaller creating a tighter curl. Both are great.

For Shark, as european you are effed..as the voltage is not the same and it will fry the device

Great tutorial! Thank you !! I find that when I leave curling wand in my hair for 20-30 seconds my curls last 2 days with the shark flexstyle ! I also use the Oribe texturizing spray and that helps too!

Thing is she started off with a looser hold with the shark and tightly wrapped her hair more around the Dyson so ofcourse that will make a difference but that will make a difference when using the exact same tool as well.

I got natural curly hair. So these tools will never be tested on me 😂. Dyson was not as good as the other IMO

My hair is naturally really wavy/curly bushy 😂 if I let it dry naturally. I would love beautiful natural curls. The shark curls really well, but the brushes for the shark are very harsh, I mainly use the dyson.

I'm seeing so many people using theses especially the dyson on dry hair. I thought this was supposed tobe used on damp hair. Is this not hurting your hair using it on dry hair?

I thought that it was supposed to be used on wet/damp hair also, but when I tried it, it really didn’t work well at all, it just left the root of the hair wet and frizzy/flat once dry. What works best for me, wash hair, dry with the soft brush(blow out the roots to give volume) then once dry and blown out use the curlers to curl the ends etc. it gives that blowout look. Since the hair is just freshly washed, the curls shape much better and last longer. If I use the dyson on day old hair, it refreshes it but the curls won’t last as long as freshly washed hair 😊

I don’t like shark cos will get over heated n if i wan to change side or change hand direction if have to take out the barrel n change very troublesome, i like dyson the best airwarp

I think it would be fun to do a timeline video on that 😀 but usually these curls last the day on day old hair. If it was freshly washed and then curled hair, usually two days, but the curls wouldn’t be perfect on the second day.

Well, main difference comes from the size of the barrel. Dyson is smaller and gives tighter curles.

I own and love both, but the flex style is SO travel friendly with how it folds!! And I’ve got all the tools for natural curls and sleek blow out in one place. I know Dyson is trying to keep up with a diffuser attachment…. But the cost can not be beat for the Shark …

Hi Kim ☺️ yes I agree. The price of the shark is way better and curls just as well. I’ve been going back to my Revlon brush to dry my hair these days and then using the shark to curl at times!!!

I think the dyson curls are my fav 🥰 but the shark does a great job also!! It’s hard to decide
