I use the olaplex products. They are so amazing. (No 3,4, 5 & 7)I make sure that my hairdresser uses olaplex in my color when I get my hair done at the salon, helps my hair stay healthy after coloring it. But I also use treseme shampoo and conditioner regularly. I like to mix up the shampoos that I use, so that my hair doesn’t get used to the product and that I don’t get product build up on my hair. I wash my hair twice a week usually. Once a month I’ll do a treatment in my hair and leave it overnight, using the No.3 from olaplex. ☺️

Love ur videos may i know how u curl ur hair in another country like Taiwan where u can't use Dyson products, so what products u use in those situations

Thank you so much ☺️ when I don’t have access to a Dyson in a country outside of the US I will normally use a regular hair dryer and round Bristle brush to blow out my hair. Once my hair is completely dry, I will then use a hair straightener to curl my hair or I’ll use a curling wand. I have hair tools for a lot of places around the world 🙈 I’ve lived in many countries. So if I go to Europe I’ll bring my European hair tools, if I go to Brazil or Asia etc.. I’ll bring those ones 😅 I’ve had to buy many hair tools during my life time because the tools don’t work in the other countries because of the wattage or the outlet. Thankfully when I was in Europe this year my family member had the Dyson so I was able to use it. But it can really feel like a step down when I don’t use the Dyson 😂

Which tresseme products u use? Do u put any products on ur hair when u brush dry it? How u make ur hair so volumeous at the top without any hair swirls

I will honestly use any shampoo and conditioner 😅 once it cleans my hair really well and leaves it fresh, it’s perfect for me. I have tried so many expensive products and I don’t like them. I like treseme because it cleans my hair, so that when I blow out my hair, my hair get a lot of volume because I don’t have any product build up in my hair from during the week etc. I don’t use anything to give me volume, I pretty much just use the Dyson and blow my hair upwards and out. Sometimes I’ll use the heat protectors prior to drying. ☺️ Just simple.

Great video...you're hair is amazing! I have the airwrap and always thought it had to be partially wet/dry to get the curls? So are you not using the cool shot at all? 🥰

Thanks so much Marion ☺️ I always thought the hair had to be wet also but after playing around with it for ages now I realized to get the best results the hair needs to be freshly washed, blown out, to get volume until the hair is completely dry and then curled. Depending on the style I do, I use the cool shot, but for the curls at the end of the video (the tighter curls) I didn’t use the cool shot because I wanted them to set the way they twisted. Check out my other video where I did a curly blow out, in that video I used the cool shot on each curl to set them before I brushed them out ❤️

Do you use any styling products to fix your curls?

I usually just use a serum/oil afterwards, like the Oribe gold lust oil, to smoothen out the curls. But to make the curls last I will use a soft hold hair spray, can be any brand really.

Lorna, This is great! Are these the standard barrels? I’m considering the Air Wrap but not sure if I need the customization of longer barrels. Any thoughts?

Hi Kim, the ones I used are the 1.2inch barrels. They come with the complete set. I may buy other barrels later on. But for now the ones I have are good. You could try the longer barrels if you have long hair because then all your hair would fit on the entire barrel and you won’t need to use smaller sections. But I’ve been happy with the barrels I have to do my hair. ☺️

Do you rewet your hair? Or do use it dry?

I blow out my hair first, it needs to be freshly washed and blown out to make sure the curls stay nicely in my hair and give me that nice curly blowout curly look. If the hair is freshly washed and dried then the curl lasts longer in my hair. I don’t curl the hair when it’s damp or wet because the curl won’t stay and will dry frizzy and also I love volume, so drying the roots first gives you volume.

I normally don’t like using any products in my hair 🙈 but I’ve been using the heat protector from kerastase www.kerastase-usa.com/collections/discipline - it seems good, but I’m sure any brand would work well .
