This is really helpful. I have been riding mountain bikes for well over 30 years and I know that sport well. I have so much gear, and I know what to wear and when to wear it. I am buying a Surron Ultra Bee and I have never owned a motorcycle before. I know that I need all the gear, but I don't know anything about it. If it's anything like mountain bike gear, it's going to be expensive.

For off-road riding, some of your MTB gears can fit. For instance, the D3O lineup from Scott is both for MTB and MX. That being said, security gear is always worth every penny 🙌

@@MTO_Brothers you're right. I have a Flack Jacket from Fox with built in padding. I also have moto pants. I ride DH mountain bikes and we wear a lot of the same protection gear like full face helmets. But i'll have to get boots and some other stuff. Thanks for the tips!

@@JubeProductions Please do boots! Went there, coming from MTB you don't feel at ease at the beginning, but it can cost you big as you hit things differently. I broke a toe just by getting my foot out, not even crashing and clearly that wasn't much compared to what could have happen. Anyway, good thing much of your gears can be reused 👍

@@nowais5598 Merci de ta confiance :) ça dépend de ton poids, du terrain (rocailles enduro/roulant/MX…) et aussi si tu as un gripster ou non à l'avant. Tu peux partir sur 1.2bar et ajuster au feeling ;)

en ce qui concerne le frein moteur, c'est une question de préférence (pas forment mieux ou moins bien). Ça sollicite beaucoup plus les freins évidemment, mais moteur et batterie chauffent moins aussi (surtout en été), car ils ne travaillent "que" à l'accélération.

@@MTO_Brothers je fait 76kg environ , j'ai la moto full prépa donc lourde , je roule souvent dans des endroit très type rocaille , et vu de la méteo cette année dans du gras , j'ai déja pincé 15 chambre en 19 , j'avais fini par mettre un bib a l'avant , la je retoune sur des chambres a air pour tester en 21 , surtout que le pneu a l'air plus costaux et donc il protègera un peu la chambre 1.2 bar ça te parait bien du coup ?
