This is the first video I've seen from your channel but I wanted to wish you a happy late birthday. I spent my 21st alone and felt super bad about it. But after watching your video my perspective on being alone is more positive :)
@jackyajones11 күн бұрын
Thank you! I think it’s very easy to get FOMO especially on days like your birthday but in reality I find most of the time when I am out n about I find myself majorly preferring my time alone anyway. It’s all a matter of perspective in the end. I hope you can go into your next birthday feeling more at peace :)
@Kelps_K12 күн бұрын
Honestly, thank you for this video. I'm turning 26 in a month and I will be spending that birthday, as well as Christmas, alone. I thought my twenties would be one of the best parts of my life as seen through movies and TV shows, but I've never felt so alone before (and I feel a lot of shame around it). Videos like yours are very important for many individuals and make people feel less alone in their situations. So thank you ❤

Happy early birthday! I’m sorry to hear it, it should be known these waves of loneliness come n go and I have much faith your next birthdays will be a little more gregarious, but that doesn’t mean this one isn’t equally as important :) I appreciate the kind words, take some time for yourself

In case that wasn´t already nerdy enough and you are interested in that topic, there is a very good and easy to understand beginners hearing about the worldview in the middle ages online. Its from someone named Prof. Walter Ötsch. The only problem is, he speaks Austrian German, so the auto translate into English makes some mistakes. But might be fun to watch anyway 😀 And you have to start with the antic worldview first, otherwise it doesn´t not make sense.

Hi Jacky. Thanks for the video. Your off to a great start in you early KZbin channel. I like the content and want to see you grow so I subscribed. I see some good potential in this. You have some good humor as well 😁. The visuals are good. I can verify a lot of things you said were actually correct so props for your research (although I can't say for everything). That being said your editing is really really bad for sound and some visuals on yourself. The sound is the worst and will turn off potential subs and casual viewers. Your insert of other clips sounds is fine. Its your own clips that are really really bad. I mean really bad so fix that quick. There are clicks all the time. Please fix that. Thanks hun and best of luck in your career!
@jackyajonesАй бұрын
Hi thanks for taking the time to comment! I appreciate your feedback and will certainly take it on board. The clickiness I think was attributed to some choppy editing but the mic quality I certainly noticed n will try improve for next time. Thanks again :)

16:52 the way you say "overall" is kind of representative for a strong New Zealand accent 🙂 There were also some great things back then. There was no concept of consciousness, so everything you heard or saw or dreamed of was never a hallucination and instead thought of as being real. There was no reliable concept of nature laws, so everything you could imagine was thought of as being possible. Dying was seen as something amazing, nobody was afraid of it. If your end was near people would come up to you to congratulate you and ask you if you already can see the other side. Lending money for interest was a crime. Without interest there is no financial growth over time, so saying " Time is money " did not make any sense to these people. They basically lived in a magical mystery world, without any rush.

OK, good video. Sometimes I have difficulty understanding what you're saying, and that's not helped by the fact that you speak very quickly. And European viewers whose native language is not English, won't be able to cope with that without subtitles.
