I had this gun for a while and its been 8 years u made this video and idk if you'll respond but the little plastic cube you put at the end is broken and i wonder if you know where I could get one

I believe you mean the plastic block that goes for the release latch? I have not been able to source any way other than eBay. There are plenty of kits out there. You may look on Amazon as well. Hope this helps.

Just push the slide release pin towards you from back side as you would with most handguns.

I bought an absolutely mint example of a 6906 last year sometime. First time bringing it to the range my buddy wanted to try it and had his own ammo.. I had not shot it once yet and figured let him be the first.. one shot slide locked back frozen… after some looking I noticed debris left in the barrel from the round he fired .. he had some bs ammo that bulged the barrel and it’s just enough where it won’t let the barrel fit thru the slide hole in front so it’s legit locked back permanently. It was def his ammo because he ruined a Glock barrel the same day with it. I got a new barrel but don’t know how to get the slide off with it like that shy

You didnt dismantel the barrel. I want to see the firing tube. The actual pipe. The inside of the barrel.

Great show CheapAssHack, I followed your lead and attempted this field strip, easy to remove the pin, BUT, slide gets hung up and wont slide off, now the slide assy. is jammed without the slide pin able to be reinserted. Any ideas ?

I bought a beautiful 6906 around last December.. I took the slide apart to wet sand the sides of the slide for a shine and reassembled.. I bring that up because my first attempt shooting it I got one round off and the slide stuck to the rear and has been there since.. honestly I got frustrated and haven’t touched it.. now I want to fix and shoot it. Any help would be huge .. btw iv looked and looked also trying to feel where it’s getting locked up but I cannot! find it and don’t want to force it

I would venture to guess the safety lever "tab" is hanging. I sold this one long ago b/c it's hard to get a sight picture and they just aren't that accurate IMO.

my first shot is fine but then the rest of the "round clip" that the pellets are in become misaligned and won't shoot anymore. I have to manually fidget with the "round clip" to make it work. help.

You'll need a new magazine. The teeth are worn. The high capacity or "gray" ones were notorious for wearing out quickly.

I guess im the only one that has trouble seeing through you fingers ...i had to rewatch several times to figure out where the springs and other stuff goes. Ill have to admit this has helped,but your video could be slowed down 50% and after inserting a part let the viewers absorb that action before continuing with another part. Also it wouldn't hurt to zoom in. I'm watching on my phone. So I'm further along than i was,but the pieces fell out of the top area a little coil spring a plastis plunger that goes against the round cylinder that the trigger falls onto...well ill have to take a stab in the dark on that one. Also there is the little plastic spacer im not sure exactly how the sits. Is there a slower more detailed version you can direct me too. Thanks for what you have done. I know ive thought if doing how to videos but i know its not easy. Thanks again

Hi there. This was a difficult one to record back in the day for me. You know you can slow the video speed down? Check the playback settings... Initial high speed is for familiarity and then you can slow it down for true comprehension/retention.

mine blew up after I tried disassembling it with gas still in it so me and my mates spent the next 3 hours picking up the parts and reassembling it lmao

Thank you so much, as mentioned by others great video! I especially appreciate the fact you keep your hands clear from the parts so I can see what you are doing many other videos are upside down/peoples hands are in the way etc. I was able to fully refurbish my .356-4. Keep up the great work mate!
