Would have loved to have seen- Big Helmet Heroes & Hot Rod Mayhem indies respectively. They both look incredibly fun and compelling for their smaller scale compared to bigger Co-op games coming out next year.

With Blue Print its actually only the demo that gets 4 days. it shows mechanics in the demo that go past 4 days, like the observatory day list.

Never really liked these types of lists. They always feel so bloated with games I couldn't care less about. With that said, this is a fantastic top 25, so many cool games! (Also respect the take on Crowsworn > Silksong)

Thanks. I tried to keep each mention as concise as possible. As for Crowsworn, we were given access to the demo earlier in the summer by the devs. I am going from the tone and the gameplay feel compared to what I have experienced with Hollow Knight and what I have seen from Silksong trailers.

At first I thought this was a re upload of the same video and Im half right because it sort of just ads on extra to the same video. Not trying to bring any negativity or criticises in a bad way but why reuse the same footage and not just list another 25 titles only? My only explanation is maybe it looks better for the title to say 50? Or maybe people might have watched this video and not looked at the older one because you could argue it’s outdated? Just curious as to why? Other than that the commentary is very informative and to the point while not being longwinded, nice! EDIT: and yes very clever having hornet as the thumbnails otherwise I probably wouldn’t have clicked, you got me😆

Hi. Appreciate the comment. I did the first 25 and then another video with 25 more. In a how sausage is made type stuff, you can add them to playlist, but watching a lot of videos about growing and best practices, it said compilation videos perform better than playlists. I haven’t done it before, so I thought I would try it. I also edited them a bit so they flowed together better, instead of just glueing two videos together. I have also seen comments from my subscribers that they didn’t even see the first one was out when I posted the second list. Another chance for exposure is always good. Finally, as you said, the title change is nice too. 50 is more than 25. Trying something out and seeing how it works. Appreciate the comment and the way you delivered it. Thanks. We are small and there just isn’t any other independent gaming character as iconic at the moment. More importantly, Silksong is on the list, so I don’t feel slimy using it Also did you see both first parts or did this prove the theory that you might have missed the second video upload?

@ so it went like this. My KZbin algorithm suggests the first video so I click it and then note your channel in the back of my mind as one I’d come back to and almost every sequential video I watch but yes I see your point it could be easy to miss the second. For someone who hasn’t tried that style of video before I thought you did really well

Good question and someone else already asked something similar. Basically, after watching some educational content of video production, I’m trying something I haven’t done before, as it would likely perform better as a compilation video as opposed to separate videos in a playlist. It’s early to tell, but seems accurate.
