Dude you pick up on everything. The little girl was Keeper yenan. She snuck into whitestone as the little girl then turned into the Keeper to get into the castle. Season 3 is going to be dope.

Vax and Keyleth (both with a Strength of 14) are stronger than Percy (with a 12). Pike naturally has a 13 in that score, as does Scanlan. Only Vex with a 7 is weaker than Percy. You can now check out the opening credits for S3 - it looks like they've upped the animation budget again. Vax's wings were done so much better here. in the campaign, he and Scanlan did go in the dragon, but it was Scanlan turning Grog into a Giant Eagle that saved them, and then Gilmore showed Vax the wings being part of the armor's enchantment.

So many awesome scenes in this one: Grog chasing "Umbilical" and getting on (not in) his ass hacking away, Kiki Airlines and Birdman Vax flying the crew to the next venue, Machina team work in the dragon's lair, and Scanlan hitting the opera high note to shatter UmbrASSyl's skull like a wine glass! What do they do best? Vox Machina fuck shit up!

Funfact: Scanlan Grandkids are voiced by Sam Riegels (the VAs) actual kids :D And yes, Scanlan harmonized with his sword, it's a weapon that was specifically made for bards :D

This fight is so good at showing how strong these dragons are, their whole plan with the trap and the herds warriors fell apart so quickly, and this is probably just the weakest dragon of the 4 ;-;

"Burt" is a side reference to one of Scanlan's aliases - when trying to bluff his way out of Vox Machina's legal troubles, he would draw a mustache on his finger and call himself "Burt Reynolds Esquire". Which is funny, because Matt Mercer's (Sylas Briarwood, Umbrasyl) mother once played D&D with Darrin De Paul (Captain Stonefell from S1) back at Burt Reynolds Acting seminar back in the lat 1970's/early 1980's. It also led to the line in the show "You leave when Burt Reynolds tells you to leave". yeah, Vax is Fate-Touched. And the Matron doesn't like the idea of people like that messing with the skein of Fate.

In the game, they got in there via Dimension Door spell, Vax was shrunk down, too, so he could fit lol When Kaylie went to stab scanlan, she actually was attempting to kill him after his unsuccessful persuading, but rolled a 1 on the attack, so Matt made it so she couldn't bring herself to do it, just barely causing the cut you see when he gets out from under the sword

Hello. Have you seen the movie Tarzan The Fearless?

Don't apologize for the hype! Such an amazing episode and fight! This was the first battle they had with a real map and miniatures in the campaign. The players got hype and the fight was amazing then and they did it such wonderful justice!

The song has nothing to do with Kaylee or her mom. It’s just a dirty bar song about masturbation, that is popular in this town. Scanlan referenced it in the previous episode. He said whenever he used to play in this town, he’d always close his gigs with this song.

This is my favorite episode to. The fight was amazing. Both of Scanlans songs are fun. For some shows to react to, you mentioned catching up with RWBY: Viz media just bought the rights to it, so we might be seeing more come out of that series sometime. You might enjoy Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss for the adult humor and music. Lackadaisy only has the pilot up on KZbin, but its worth the watch. You mentioned Owl House, thats a good one and I recommend it. If you wanted to watch more things related to Vox Machina, you could watch the prequel game they did, Exandria Unlimted: Calamity. Its about the events that lead to the war were the vestiges were made. Its 4 episodes long but each one is like... 4-5 hours, so you may want to watch it in chunks rather than the whole thing.

it really was an amazing episode, a great adaptation of one of the best combat episodes of their campaign - the animation team, the music, the voice acting - all rose to the challenge. I do think the animation gives away that Kaylie is related to Scanlan - they look so similar. In game, that scene actually happened before the dragons came, and then they ran into each other in Westruun when Vox Machina made their way there. This really worked well - "I'm daddy?" is hilarious.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a good, Harry Potter is a classic. DBZ Abridged if you wanna do something lighthearted (mostly)

Literally my favorite episode by far in this show right now, since you are looking for other shows to watch I think you should check out Scavengers Reign, its a pretty fun animated show about an alien planet.

In the game, they hit the Pokeball MedEvac when Grog had 1hp left. Vex was almost killed flying through the crowd, and Grog had zero chance of survival, but he dropped from 50 feet in the air and rolled a natural 20 to finish Kevdak. Also, they ended an episode mid-fight with Travis (Grog) yelling "Vox Machina, fuck shit up!" And we all had to wait a week to see how they would fo it.

Sam based his character, Scanlan Shorthalt, after a real musician, Marshall Mathers. Including working with Dr Dranzil (Dr Dre).

You’re right about the gun getting more power, in a sense. When No Mercy Percy kicks in, he doesn’t have to reload anymore. The gun has six barrels, but Percy shot seven times while executing Stonefell.

This channel and series needs more traction, the edits are pretty solid so far.

Pike's hair turned white from a trauma, just like Percy's. Some reactors mistake that for Pike's mother, but you were right. They are very careful to show that Grog only killed armed opponents. And the little flash of light that that drew Grog's attention to Wilhand's locket - could that be the work of the Everlight, the goddess of Redemption? and yeah, that "but what if I need you?" callback hits hard. and what a set up for what may be the best episode of the season.

10:00 Grog fought Earthbreaker Groon in the arena of the Stormlord, the actual god of storms, battle and competition. Based on the tribes name and focus on physical might it is likely that in the past they followed the teachings of the god which of course include bravery and "true" strength, but theres no sign of religion or those values under Thunderlord Kevdak

Some of the flirting is because Pike does like Scanlan, but she is also being tactical: she knows how to motivate her friend to do his best.

Pikes hair actually turned white as part of the dnd campaign when she died and got revived at some point and the experience made her hair change color.

Love your fill ins for your lack of video! Keyleth used "teleport via plants" Spell like she has a few times before. But this time she did it while being a fire elemental so it did fire damage to both trees with one move. Very cool in game and animated!

sorry about your technical difficulties. hope things get better for you soon. they decided to make the twins' father much worse here. In the campaign, he actually amended the document to add the spurious title Percy just bestowed, and he tells them that it was more important to stay alive than retrieve the bow. but it makes sense narratively sense. But that Syldor had already worked with Vox Machina and knew they were capabilities. Ashley got the "buddies" from the old Key & Peele sketch about the valets who were talking about "Liam Neesons". Keyleth pulled that stunt in the campaign. She cast a spell called Tree Stride, allowing her to teleport from tree to tree and then turned into a Fire Elemental. It was one of the best combat moves on stream.

I hope you realize how cool it is that Willhand was voiced by Henry "The Fonz" Winkler. They did tango with pixies in the game, and IIRC, it was a bitch to deal with!

one interesting thing to note. They have said, Keyleth mum disappeared after leaving this location and before arriving to the next one. Nobody knows what happened to her. Since this happened many years ago. She is presumed dead.

This is the only show other than Vox Machina that made me consider watching television. I still don't have cable or any streaming service or even Internet connection, but I considered it.

A bunch of ppl have said this already, but you're so intuitive when it comes to these characters & understanding certain situations (like the barn scene at the end with Vax, so many ppl fail to realize what's happening there, but you caught on so fast)!
