Thank you! I've learned so many ghost songs from your channel. I have a question, what's de FX chain/pedal settings you use for this and for the solo?

For the intro/verse you want chorus with a bit of delay, maybe a little compression and just a good drive for the verse with a splash of delay.

Hello NANG! I've been following you for 3 years now and your skill has always mesmerize me, you and your covers/tutorials are the reason why i started playing guitar this january, you make hard songs look easy! 😂. Thank you for all. I also wanted to ask you if there is a chance to recover those Firehawk fx patches (tones) since the app that was used is now dead. Also, if you could help me (and anyone that want to learn) to learn how to get the same exact tone in our multi-effects (for reference, i purchased a Line 6 Pod Go), i really dont have any idea and since you are so good that i sometimes doubt that you are not a nameless ghoul yourself, whos better than you to teach us this things. (Sorry for my english, it's not my first language, it's actually spanish) Best regards and keep rocking!

Hello brother. Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it and am glad my channel has inspired you to play. It’s very difficult for me to explain how to get a particular sound. I just looked in the App Store and the app is there and it works. So I don’t understand what’s happened there. It’s the type of gain that makes a difference. And that’s just something I know from experience. You know right away if you’re onto something or if it’s garbage. Follow this video. It seems what you’re after to me. His gain sounds good to me. Add a splash of delay and you’re good to go. kzbin.info/www/bejne/honHYWqnlMZ9fac

@@notanamelessghoulI finally got the app working on bluestacks, it doesn't support android 13. The video you recommended to me is very good and is perfectly explained, I will try to do my best to get the most out of it. Thank you again man, you're the best!

Hello, since it seems like you dedicated a lot of time listening, analysing and learning ghost songs i have a question - dont you feel like ghost went in different direction after first 3 records? I became a fan somewhere after meliora came out. The first three records were heavy, there was some groove and evil church vibe with the melodies and vocals. The keys felt a lot more evil cult like. The recent two albums lacked those heavy, slow riffs ghost gained popularity with, the melodic solos stayed in the past, replaced by some faster and more shreddy guitar lines (probably because of Fredrik Akesson from Opeth) but i think thats not for good. Also theres a change for more pop, brighter, happier sound (more major scales in their songs?) And a lot of songs feel like they are made for dancing. I miss the doom, evil and haunting aesthetic, even tho there was faith on prequelle, impera waters down the sound of the band even more, being in my opinion an awful record. What do you think? Do you think that ghost cant be great like they used to be without Martin Persner (omega, leader of mcc).

Ghost went in a different direction starting with Infestissumam, and with every subsequent album 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t get the argument that Ghost “lost their heaviness” when Infest and Meliora literally had super soft songs like Idolatrine, Jiggolo, He Is and Deus in Absentia. Hell, you even had an almost surf rock song with Ghuleh.

There seems to be 2 camps of fans atm: those who want the old Ghost back and those quite happy with their direction. I am with the latter. I actually see that as a plus. I love the older albums and Meliora is probably my favourite. But I certainly don't think Impera is an awful record. I love the 80's vibe. And I like the input of Fredrik Akesson - if anything Meliora and Infest could have done with him on some of those solos as some of them are fantastic songs but the solos are a little weaker than they could have been. I like the element of surprise. You don't know what he's going to do next. I'm sure Ghost will return with a heavier record at some point. But whatever he brings out, is always very well done and I am never disappointed.
