Looks like so much fun. I know this is an older video, but any issues with ricochets or splatter?

Gotta love Hoppes. Tried all the CLP stuff but it just didn't get it. Not clean enough for me. Always used it with Dad back in the day. Thanks for the video. Just got a used Buckmark Plus in stainless. Went over it and cleaned it up a little but I'll look at the magazine also as this gun is 7 yrs old but in nice shape. Had to replace the screws holding the rail on which were torqued to 60 and 40 in/lbs. Though they would snap. Called Browning and they said hand tight No torque spec. Thanks again

What is the 380,000? Where does this number come from, as a minimum starting point? Can I assume, the known grain weight of projectiles thst can reach out far enough to targets, and still have a small enough arch trajectory to still fit into most scope elevation scales?

Why not just get a shorter tripod?
@gdw131622 күн бұрын
Because if you didn't look already look up a RRS tripod that is $1000+. Then the Vortex tripod next to it is another $800-900. And then you you would have to have this "shorter" tripod custom made to be at the perfect height when at full extension to fit his exact requirement. That's at least $1500. PRS/NRL is timed stages so you don't want to have to think about where your legs on your tripod need to be for you to be behind the rifle at the correct position. Eliminate seconds spent trying to get on target. Shaving seconds and whatnot.
@JohnVK5JAK24 күн бұрын
The whole idea of tripod legs is that they adjust to whatever height you need. Why cut them when you can just adjust them?
@Tomthormeyer24 күн бұрын
I have the same tripod and also shoot NRL. The reason he cut the legs is because he’s like me and is kinda short. When you start a stage we try to find the targets as fast as possible. So you deploy the tripod from the shortest position the put the Binoculars on it’s too tall from the kneeling position. So you cut the legs.
