I’m late lol but to test ground use a multimeter. Have the car off. In the continuity position touch one lead to a ground on the car. Other lead just start touching pins til you get continuity. That’s your ground

I used braided fishing line with a little bit of heat. Worked a treat.

I believe the reason "ger" is a second piece from "Stin" is because you set "Stin" first completely covering the first hole and you have play to set "ger" over the second hole as it is movable that 3/16"

Very weird I went to get my first oil change on my 2020 stinger GT only have 4000 miles on it… The guy said I had a leak where the filter goes and recommended not doing the oil change…. My friend put it on a lift took everything off “skid plates” and I see there’s some oil but I have a feeling the guy put it there because he didn’t wanna do the job…He told me to take it to the dealership

I sprayed a solvent to remove the badge glue and guess what?! The glue went away with the car paint!!! Totally ruined back, now i ordered the High Chroma Red colour to fix the issue, i hope it will fix it

Just managed to remove the front logo and guess what. There is no glue but some sort of solid material attached to the car body. Looks and touches like a plastic, maybe a solid resin, but I could not even move it and I even cut my hand! Had to replace it back, now i'm contacting a coachbuilder

Watched this again and it'll help me as I need to change out my shifter lever assembly. I broke mine. DOH.. looks like once cover is off, I'll just need to unscrew the assembly and swap out and re-screw down new one. will try that today and make my video on that. Cheers !.. I still prefer my console with no lid to flip up for cup holders, but it looks sleeker when not using them, that's for sure.

As long as it's a catback, you should be fine for smog. Catback exhaust systems are typically unregulated because they start after the catalytic converter, so they don't affect emissions.

My best Stinger modification is my new license plate which reads STINGRR. I have the impression that the car is now running even faster since I installed it. It cost me $94 here in CT.

Thanks muchly for the video. Our local Kia dealer failed miserably to do the re-badging earlier today on my 2019 Stinger - I was NOT impressed. It was supposed to be done a year ago as part of the sales agreement when we bought it - but it's been one farce after another - and today may have been the last straw. Thinkin' of tackling it myself now (they say if you want it done right...DIY, right!). Your video is a great help...inspires some confidence.

I traded in my Kia for a Miata, my wife still has her stinger gt1. So I just changed the oil on my Miata and was thinking of doing the stinger. Point you’d never figure the stinger cost more money. The Miata has an aluminum cover no plastic shit. Normal oil filter too. Right next to the oil plug no special tools needed

How long does the new badge take to set, glue/tape? Is it safe to drive right after installing?

I bought a used GT2 and it had this “E” badge on it. I see a lot of ppl with them but it doesn’t look good at all imo, and I don’t understand what the letter “E” has to do with Kia or Stinger……

has no one determined the ground pin on the harness yet..? there has to be one for the lights themselves right?
