What dealer are you using. It sounds like they really went the extra mile. I’m looking at the same setup. I saw this was a year ago, would you do the same setup after a year? Have you had any problems with it? It’s a big purchase.
@diggingwithdylan90925 күн бұрын
@@chadanderson-w4v I’m about 2 years in now. No issues out of the excavator and my dealer is amazing! The rotator has been good but had a few small issues and it was a nightmare dealing with NOX. On my next one I’ll go with steel wrist or Engcon on the rotator but I am happy with the performance and even reliability of the NOX so far. They just don’t have enough customer support. I used Apalachin equipment soloutions as my dealer they have several locations in TN and West Virginia
@chadanderson-w4v4 күн бұрын
@ Ok thanks. That’s what I was worried about was customer support. Keep doing what you’re doing. I think your channel is about to skyrocket.
@diggingwithdylan90924 күн бұрын
@ thanks! Really appreciate the support! Can’t recommend the Sany enough! As for the rotator unfortunately Nox is the only one I have experience with so can’t truly speak for the others but have really enjoyed my conversations with the steel wrist team and would probably go that route on my next one. But I also have been really intrigued by CMP attachments tilt rotate bucket. Again no personal experience with it but for the price point would be a good stepping stone to the full blown rotator setup.
@chadanderson-w4v4 күн бұрын
@@diggingwithdylan9092 Last question. Would you give up the grabbers for half the price. Ragnar gave me a price for around 23k for 360 bucket with tilt but they don’t have the grabbers. I appreciate your feedback.
@diggingwithdylan90924 күн бұрын
@ honestly now after I have experienced the full blown setup I wouldn’t give it up for anything! It is life changing and I uses the grabbers all the time. I will never be without a full tiltrotator setup again as long as I’m in this line of work. I think the CMP bucket that has tilt and rotate is what I would try if I was forced to go back. But Even CMP will tell you it doesn’t compare to a true tilt rotator setup. But it is a fraction of the price if you can’t afford the tiltrotator right out the gate.

Yeah, I just have a Sany SY 16 mini 2 ton excavator and I took out a box that’s mounted in front of the under the seats that stuck out about 3 to 4 inches that had I guess we’re supposed to put the manual keep the book in it, which I would never do and then I that gave me more room and I can put my tiptoes on the bottom of the pedals and that’s how I go backwards

Takeuchi would not come to the job site to fix my machine with less than 50hrs and less than 30days when the fuel pump went out,(all I knew at the time was it just quit running on me) most prople would not have the means to load a 10,000 lb + machine that won't even roll when not running. Most people don't know that Sany's business model is genius. Sany legally took the expired patents of older Caterpillar equipment tweaked them a little and are now able to offer lower prices and great warranties. Since they invested in no to little research and development they are able to pass that savings onto customers and still have a viable profit margin. They may not have all the bells and whistles but who cares. Men are putting money in the bank and food on the table with these machines.

The Pro has a 4 way blade, larger cab, extra air vent and an air ride seat. I don't have much experience with excavators but the Sany just checked all the boxes I needed checked and offered good credit terms and a whale of a warranty.
