The Knights SR-15 is banned in Cali. It's dumb I know. I tried to find a KAC upper but couldn't find one. I went with the DDM4A1 with the quad rail, EOTECH EXPS3, KAC iron sights, Geissele trigger, Modlite PLHv2 with Surefire switch on Cloud Defensive mount and a Ferro Concepts sling. I also have a DDM4V7s 11.5 inch with basically the same parts but with Scalarworks iron sights instead of KAC and a pistol brace. My next rifle will be a BCM. I aso want a BRN 180 pistol. For a side arm, I like my Glock 19.

@@phillipwood5644 Our main point is for a similar price point you can get something thats overall more reliable and better made. Olight has a tendency to reach out to “influencers” and offer them free product or money to speak highly of their stuff. They did it to us early on and we declined. We arent saying as a whole every single light they produce is garbage, heck, years ago some of us had valkerys on Gen 3 Glocks. But nowadays there are better options for not too much more money.

@johnnorris102413 күн бұрын
AR15 yes and Glock yes. BCM though no. Once you slap a lower on that and your $400 flashlight, and your $800 red dot?!?! 😂😂😂 Listen, you built a Navy Seal CQB special. That is NOT what the person that wants to own utilitarian AR should buy. If you are building a do it all, it needs to be for home defense and a SHTF situation. You need a rifle that isn't so picky about being cleaned so it needs to be piston operated. I recommend the PWS Mk114 Mod 1. For $1600, it comes with guaranteed sub MOA groups. It also works at any temperature from -50 to 120 degrees. DI carbines have issues with very cold and very hot temps. Mount a Primary arms sLC 5x36 prism sight ($325) because if SHTF, most of your problems will be greater than 50 yards away which is about as far as a red dot is functionally good for because they are generally 3 MOA and the dot covers your entire target so you can't aim. The prism scope has a chevron point of aim so your target is not covered and you can reach out and touch that invading force at 600 yards with it as well. For the flashlight, I hate to break your heart, a flashlight is a flashlight and an O light only cost $50 and is nearly as tough as that surefire. I've had my O light 5 years and beat the crap out of it and never had a problem. You guys had the right idea, but, unfortunately you let your favoritism ruin your rifle choice.
@guerrilla_tactical12 күн бұрын
@@johnnorris1024 Although we respect your opinion we disagree with a lot of it. The BCM like a Glock is less about favoritism but was chosen because of personal experience with thousands of rounds through it. LPVOs with dots on top are an excellent choice, we opted for an eotech here and would have a flip to the side magnifier if it were a personal rifle. Either or will work well. If you want to talk about longer range engagement the real topic of discussion is ditching 5.56 and moving on to a heavier caliber DMR or SPR build. The idea was “all around” if you could just have one. A 5.56 rifle build like this will do most things people need and some. Truthfully in a SHTF situation engagements likely will not be so far away as you’re claiming as so many people in densely populated areas. Also this is not necessarily a video aimed at SHTF, more so all around if someone were to just have one pistol and one rifle. And quite frankly “ a flashlight is a flashlight” is simply not true. There are differing qualities of gear for a reason, some is indeed better than others and we always promote folks getting the best they can afford.

The arrow does not make the Indian. Guys remember, Chuck in the truck with his PSA AR and dagger for $799, that trains routinely is gonna kill you faster than Mo with his Noveske and Staccato, that trains a couple times a year. I have $2400 ARs and $500 ARs and glocks and SIGs and Taurus and at the end of the day all my guns go bang every time i pull the trigger. Dont buy into a price point, buy what you can afford and run that dog.
@guerrilla_tactical13 күн бұрын
@@WileyE.Coyote-i7c Although we agree with your sentiment I think you may have missed the point of the video slightly. Guns like Glocks and BCM are mid tier priced work horses that after tens of thousands of rounds behind each we can say with confidence that they will go bang just about as reliably as you can get. We’re not necessarily saying you have to get a glock and a bcm, only that if we could just have one pistol and one rifle this is what we would choose and why. Separately from that, we would never tell someone to go into debt for gear, and any gun is better than no gun, but folks should prioritize some quality when building out their kit. As we always say, get as good of gear as you can afford. Itll last longer and perform better for longer in most cases. Regardless of whatever guns you end up with, training is of course paramount.
