Oh what memories… I remember I wanted to be like Stuart. I got one of my dads flannelette shirts and cut the sleeves off. Man did I cop a whipping 😂 was bloody worth it and I managed to “stay alive” 🙏❤️

The song is iconic. It will go down in history as one of the best. And what an ending to a song to let the audience control it. Singing that that was beautiful.

Fek I've just got one more thing to say.........stay alive. Such a Scottish thing to say as a young man at this time in Scotland with a Tory government and such highs/lows!

I was in the US ARMY 11B on reforger 84 somewhere in a field on maneuvers and some one had this on cassette and it fit the time perfectly cause we were fixing to go back to the states and I was going on Christmas leave in 2 weeks. I was 19 and going home for2 weeks. The 80’s were great and I will never forget being young in that decade.
