Love this. So apt. Hope you're at peace now Stuart. You were such a lovely man. 😢

Growing up in metro Detroit this song was required listening in the 60's; as with all the Motown gems from the period it was all over the local radio. Big Country did it proud. RIP Stuart.

@@samyandkitty8399 Stuart sadly took his life in December 2001. His loss is profound and we all miss him terribly.

Had the privilege of seeing these led by Stuart Adamson at Birmingham Odeon 1986. They encored with Chance and then Tracks of My Tears. Absolutely brilliant. Still get goosebumps listening to this band

So I was in a really crappy diner a while back. The food was bad, the service was slow though there was no one there, and this song was on repeat THE ENTIRE TIME. I thought nothing could make me listen to this song again, but now I've got this version on repeat myself!! BC is just that good. :)

Saw them do this one as about the 5th encore on that fateful summer's eve 1986 in NYC (concerts on here minus this song). Just having seen this today it's good to know that I didn't dream that they did quite the cool treatment to an ultra-classic song (I remember on the night I cringed when they intro'd it..needn't have a perfect ending to a perfect concert!)
