i didnt play the old shade but i think the new shade is very very good as a boss mule ! the survivability is top tier along with a backstep skill and aside from the burst setup it's not hard to pilot. the damage is not bad either and party support is also nice. if there's one con about shade as a boss mule it's the amount of nodes required for the skill nodes

i don't find weekly bossing fun or rewarding atm so i do normal lomien and easy lucid on my boss mules, skip will and vhilla. so each mule takes about 12 mins each!

for libbed mules preferably maxed arcane symbols eventually, but if im lazy i leave them around level 10-15 symbols each!

@@hanzogang798 it becomes 3l epic at some point in item burning, but the quest to make them unique puts them back to 2l for some reason (I didn't think of using stamps if that works)

The slime itself has a 10 seconds stagger (like will) before it starts moving again after a successful test.

@@RuTo94 I don't really understand what you mean since I start with spirit frenzy > spirit ward > blade imp into burst as soon as I enter, but after that I use mini burst twice so everything is back up after test

@@maplekandayo it should be night walker's passive shield that procs sometimes. it should appear on both your health bar and party hp bar but usually party hp bars are slightly delayed

how long always depends on how much effort you want to put in! personally i think that if they keep going with 2 hyper burns per major event (total of 4 hyper burns per year) then id stick to funding 2-4 libbed characters per year. if you really can't wait you could start the classes you want to do in the future as current nlomien mules.

@@Essenia thx for the input, im prob gonna end up with some nlomien mules for classes i like and just sit on a bunch of absos for them til an ssf event. Unless TP farming gets nerfed i should have a good amount of funding for the mules

@@Essenia interesting...you do soul splitter after fox god flash...the rest i praticly do about the same....btw i'am curious..why Spirit Ward ? is there something i missed ? it doesn't seem to launch any attacks is there a synergy to it with other skills that i missed ?....AB is Angelic Buster Link skill ?

⁠@@Esseniaseems like a decent burst rotation except one thing: cast ab link early, since it cd resets after fox god flash. So you get two ab’s off :D

for veteran players i think they're about the same. but for a majority of players who can't max every node on mules and find better use for burst s id recommend AB > shade

according to the exp spreadsheet, 5 tickets at 230+ should still give 1 level per week so i think it's not bad at all! but of course if you have lower level characters it'd be more efficient to use it on them first

ill use parenthesis () to denote optional, keep in mind i use a -2s cd hat: 1. for damien when he goes into the air - up jump - (leap) - spikes - leap - moonsault - leap - spikes - leap - enlil - stunning - nimble flight away 2. for dpming i do the enlil - stunning - unicorn - stunning - spikes - leap combo or 3. enlil - stunning - unicorn - stunning - spikes - (leap) - gust dive leap cancel for vhilla ill usually add moonsault - leap to #2 after spikes - leap to dodge blue followed by nimble flight downwards in bosses like hlotus, will, and vhilla you cant expect to do a full combo without being hit, so you should opt to do shorter combos like flash jump > leap > gust to dodge the boss's attack, followed by enlil > stunning and hold ishtar's for 1-2s to supplement id recommend watching how i combo in my vhilla run kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3y5oJyEqpyFgKs starting at 1:50, see how you can in fit combos while the boss is attacking and thats how you get good at merc!

I see. The combo I learnt is enlil- stun-unicorn-stun-spike-leaf. Like ur 2nd combo u wrote here. I am getting used to it . tks

May i ask why we need to use stun twice in a combo? like can i follow this: enlil- stun-unicorn-spike- leaf?

@@binpham7319 the cooldown of skills are only reduced if they are "linked", and only count as so with stunning between skills, otherwise you could spam enlil - unicorn - enlil - unicorn which would be pretty op
