Your voice and your self made mental distance from things that are gross, brutal or not good for every soul, make you an adorable personality. I am in awe of the wonders that exist such as you and your work and effort. I am truly thankful

When I think of a racking motion in regards to a fish eating, I'm thinking of an arm going across the lane at the end of a bowling alley and quickly sweeping the fallen pins off the end of the lane before disappearing above and the next pins are lowered into place. However, I imagine fish or prey are being quickly swept by whatever means into the throat of the Frogfish leaving the mouth emptied and forcing the prey towards the stomach. That seems like the most applicable style of racking motion that would work in a cohesive manner to swallow prey. I hope this makes sense to others like it did in my head.

if I could choose a poison I’d choose it to not cause death, but (assuming you can combine these. I’m not a biologist) inflammation, thin blood, shortness of breath, maybe a little bit of an upset digestive system and a little hyper/hypothermia (if I can do that)

The whole “is this an animal or group of animals” argument seems pretty obvious to me, due to three points you were missing. 1. Cutting an organ off of an animal doesn’t kill it, it just rapidly starves/suffocates. (Organs that deal well with low blood flow like skin can survive for several hours to days when severed or left on a cadaver)(your sweat glands and less active hair follicles can endure nearly a month) 2. If you place an organ in a simulated environment of its natural location then it will generally continue normally 3. The natural environment of a Zoid is seawater. So syphonophores are animals with unusually tough organs that just happen to be able to survive in the environment the normal animal is in for an unusually long amount of time.

I think a good name for it would be the Quadpod-Crested Squid. This is because, when standing still vertically, their arms (Which I presume are the 4 rods sticking out of the squid, look sort of like legs, and of course, the crest.

I don't know if the turning inside out is a visual deterrent giving the low light of their environment. Maybe it's a grooming behavior?? Just wild speculation. Wrapping themselves in glow-goo seems pretty effective however.

If you want to roll your R's, say "LAH". Notice where the tongue is placed on the roof of your mouth whe. Now simply try to make an R sound in the same tongue placement. Don't move the tongue away from the spot to make the guttural R many English speakers use. So get your tongue ready to make an L sound, but instead of an L, make an R sound. Keep practicing this until you roll your Rs.

I was going to mention how fauci already destroyed our belief in the science. Then you mentioned the masks and vaccinations... Sometimes believing in scientists isn't the best. Sometimes things that "scientists" are saying is because someone is benefiting from them saying it. People with good intentions such as yourself also helped gaslight anyone who asked questions. So people wouldn't ask questions and just followed the herd.

Seriously! Your biology textbook says "nubbin". *dies* Don't feel bad for John Bobbitt, he got his bits reattached and went on to have an adult film career as an oddity. How do I know this? Because I have friends that love to traumatize me. I'm pretty sure the worm got its name just because scientists are notorious for bad puns. Like really. The blue whale's scientific name means mouse whale. And if you're really into puns, check out what happens when a bored scientist is studying temperature sensitive paralysis in fruit flies.

LOL Racking motion. I guess that's better than the ptyergoid walk of snakes. But go watch a slow mo of a Hollywood action scene where someone clears a rifle. I guess I need to get some ichthyologists together with some herpetologists. They can collab on the fast twitch muscle craziness of brown snakes and frog fish.
