They have basically the same engine except different displacement size and the jesko absolut can run on e85 and goes theoretically 100 mph faster then the ZR1, which 233 mph is still crazy.zr1: 5.5l tt flat plane crank V8 Jesko absolut: 5.2 liter tt flat plane v8

It’s not automatic, it’s a DCT. Not the same thing. DCT has no torque converter, shifts hard, everything feels like a manual. Just missing the third pedal. My dark horse is manual, and the DCT is just as fun

EVs are about planning. I have a 2024 Lightning and traveled a lot with it... use ABRP, precondition your truck. use Tesla Super Chargers. I planned ahead, I have 10kw of solar as well as chargers at work. So only use DC when I travel which I love to plan my trips. We like to stop every 100 miles or so to use the restroom or eat.. This is the best truck I have ever owned. It seems like the younger generation demands instant gratification. When gas skyrockets and when the grid goes down I will still be able to use the truck. Information is power do your research. The only problem I see if you live in a apartment with no way to charge that could be a problem. So no regrets here I will wear this one out and buy another.

Also I don’t really understand what you mean by “instant gratification” I don’t think it’s too much for me to just simply not like the idea of owning an electric vehicle anymore. I want a normal, gas vehicle that doesn’t have all these weird issues and needs.

"The high cost of charging" just made me laugh. You paid money for an EVSE to be installed .. congrats, that costs money, the same thing would happen if you had to install a fuel pump at your home.

You really should have done some research before you bought a EV! I have had my Lightning for about 15 months with zero problems. First of all, don’t buy a EV if you have to rely on public charging. Get a home level 2 charger which now comes free with the Lightning. Charging at home is a lot cheaper, I pay .06 cents per kilowatt. I use to pay on average about $120 every two weeks on my gas F150. I now pay about $35 dollars a month of electricity with my Lightning. For my first year driving my Lightning I spent $450 of electricity. That’s $2,670 savings not buying gasoline. As far as the updates, mine are set to atomic update at night while I’m sleeping. Your analogy of it drives like a go cart is so incredibly stupid! The Lighting is incredibly quick and responsive and will set you back in your seat like a sports car. It will do 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds. As far as the ride goes it’s not that much different from my gas F150. You are spot on about the range and the miles per kilowatt, although I don’t drive far to work and back I still have no problem with range. I have no problem driving 75 miles to the twin cities and back on a charge in the winter. If you are someone who drives more than 200 miles a day a EV isn’t for you. As far as breakdowns go electric motors are far less likely to fail than I.C.E cars are. EV’s have on average about 30,000 less parts. I also can have my truck on in my garage with all the doors closed without dying of carbon monoxide poisoning!

This kid has no idea what he’s talking about. My lvl 2 home charger costs .03 per kWh. I spend a tiny fraction to “fuel” my EV vs what I used to spend on gas. If you’re frequently taking cross country road trips or towing a 10,000 lb trailer every day obviously the Lightning is not for you.

I actually do know what I’m talking about, and clearly more than you. Also “cross country road trips” is a stretch. For example. My grandpa lives 100 miles away. That’s 200 mile round trip. If I want to go literally anywhere else during this trip, I’d have to stop to charge. Which in fact I had to do TWICE. Both times I took this truck there. Your price per KWH is not your TRUE cost, look at your bill and do the math yourself (if you can do math.) also everyone has different costs. Saying I have no idea what I’m talking about when every single thing I said in this video is accurate, is just being naive.

Dude doesn't travel, we now know that. BTW, .14 is considered high for my state. It is extremely doubtful this guy is an actual owner. - I had a 2018 f150 with a window that opened in the back and I could drive at 90mph without any crazy unbearable wind noise. I also drive ALL my cars with windows down, highway or not. That’s how I prefer to drive, and this truck made it unbearable to do that. - .60 per KWH at PUBLIC chargers, at home mine is roughly .25ish after all extra delivery charges etc (you can’t only calculate KWH rate as there is more to it than that) - yes, multiple times the truck started driving weird and loss of power, CEL came on, etc, because of an update. Call me crazy, but I’d prefer the car to drive normal all the time without issues with updates. It’s a vehicle, not a phone. - I do admit I smacked my hands together too much in this vid, learned from it and haven’t done it since

@@Freeway_Media Good on you and the smacking. I'm two years in on my Mach-E performance and haven't had a hitch. Charge at home. If you're a road tripper, only the Tesla network will do. Whether it a gas 150 or electric, it's still a truck. The gas version has a 23 gallon or 36 gallons. That's a huge tank; that's 111.00 in my neck of the woods. I'm about to pick up my brand-new Flash, which is a truck for people who WANT a truck but doesn't NEED one. I anticipate updates because I love my car improving after purchase. You were born too late. You'd LOVE 1979. Too much politics. Drive what you like. Most people who go electric seldom go back to ICE cars. You're a rarer breed. Good luck with your channel. I know it's a process.

Sometimes these timing chains last 150k+ but just like with any car especially modded around 100k you’ll have some things to replace. If you can do some stuff yourself, it’s really not a huge deal though. Timing, just include in the price of the car ($2500)

There’s always gonna be bias for an older generation. I received my ‘25 6-speed M4 in São Paulo yellow with yas Marina blue full leather interior and interior carbon fiber. I’ll take my M4 over yours any day lol. I did come from a g42?(Which was amazing in itself). The new M4 with the LCI taillights/headlights is just on another level than your car lol. It’s a head turner for sure 😮💨. One day you’ll understand 😏

Also, if you waited or just ordered a tesla adapter you would never need to use a public charger again. Tesla is superior, cheaper, hassle free, and overall a game changer.
