Just a quick question Greg, I was looking at voodoo eruption pickup and it seams like the company is not around anymore and also how did you get the pickup to fit because on the Wolfgang you need the pickup to have rounded corners and triangular legs to fit in ????

Bass right at 3 o'oclock...Mids 11 o'clock...High at 1 o'clock and the Presence at 1.5...Resonance knob around back at 12 Noon Straight up...Volume is whatever you can handle ! I use either a EVH 1-12" speaker cab with the stock Celestion Anniversary 30 watt speaker in it or a 4-12" speaker cab..either way sounds awesome ! Great job on this video and playing.

I miss the good old 80's solos . I play guitar but seems rhythm and singing is my thing. I have tried for many years and still do try to work on leads but I just don't seem to have that skill. It makes me wonder how back in the 80's young kids were instant professional guitar players . All I can figure is their moms and dads got them started early with all the best gear and guitar lessons.

You really need to start using your pinky, the major scale modes are a bitch with three fingers. That being said great demo, I was gifted an Origin 20, alot of good ideas. It's a difficult amp to 'dial in'.
@billknudson7895
@billknudson7895 3 ай бұрын
Excellent demo. Very clear explanations and useful variations on the approach to adding more eighties-style gain to the amp’s stock tone. One word of advice for those of you who choose to use effects in the loop: it won’t work properly if the master volume is on 10, or thereabouts, especially if you’re using delay and/or reverb. While you’ll hear the effects, the sound won’t include the distortion in the mix. This drove me crazy until I lowered the master and cranked up the gain. Someone on one of the Marshall forums came to the same conclusion (Marshall’s tech support didn’t!). Even with those changes, I still got plenty of gain, to which I’d add a boost or overdrive for some extra zip. I absolutely love this amp. I’m currently playing it through a 1x12 cabinet containing an ancient Rola Celestion 8 ohm speaker. A sweeter sound would be tough to find.

I skip most of the time the song to the guitar solo and after the solo the song is over😂 Most people don't listen to instrumental music wich is totally fine. It doesnt matter if it is guitar piano or other intrument. I think that the whole music is very importent for good solos. For exaple synister gates solos are my favourit. They are catchy but still very fast and choatic. The think is that their hole songs are catchy and melodic so that people listen to their music and there for the solos. A solo is just as good and memorbel as the song.

What's the diference with the original version with 2 knobs, I use both knobs in the middle, for years, ???? Now I use with my Tonex and Fender FRFR is great for tone modeling and FRFR, removes the muddy sound. I love it, but not sure on a band if that crisp, clear hi freq sound helps. Its puts your tone on a high freq and probably cuts some mids. On a band, you need all the mids.
@shredaintdead9323
@shredaintdead9323 3 ай бұрын
