Dear Mother Miriam! I think Jesus Christ made women and men. I am a girl too, and I made Altar Serving during 10 years in my childhood. If you try to look at me, I would explain what I think. I think Girls can be Altar Servers, but The Priests and Catholic Churches People should make more information, what does it mean. As I know this service of Jesus Christ prepare boys and girls to be a priest or nun. I think Catholic Churches people and priest and so on should talk about it the Altar Servers in adolescence. Because the children is growing up process should know what does it mean and what mean in their soul. I think 14 years old children should get more informacion about this processing. And parents should help them, what they want, if they would like to be a priest if he is boys, or would like to be a nun on the way of God in their life, you should make a decision in adolescence. Girls and Boys should make it, because it is a very nice activity of God, but priest and nuns should help them, if they are not be in more activity in Cahtolic way, you should end it at the ending of High School Student life. I think it the best soultion this problem, and make a "Thank You" situation the "Altar Serving of Jesus", and they should know about effect of their soul too. If sy make that decision, girls and boys makeing Altar Serving in adolescence, they know about effect of life it. I think it would be the best decision. If sy end it or continous after this infomration, it is that responsibility, it would be the best, they talk about what does it mean: thinking, life and so on- this is independent of how decide about your life. If sy does not make it, you should know about effect on your life- regardless her or his adult life. What dou you think Mother Miriam? Have a nice day!
