Working in Hollywood, I’ve seen the change from movies with messages to movies that are just popcorn poppers. Every once in a while a movie like this sneaks through and changes you a little bit for the better. This is what we should all aspire to do. Change everyone you meet a little bit for the better.

My dad went scuba diving off Guadalcanal and said the Thin Red Line does a brilliant job depicting how the natives are. Very chill and happy people. I kind of envy their life. I also love how a big theme in this movie is that the US and Japanese are effectively aliens fighting it out on this island

The Tree of Life is a truly religious experience. From the vision to the story, music and themes involved. I can't think of another movie that encompasses life and family.

Idk what it was and ik the father was obviously a abusive drunk. But i felt bad for him. All he did was try to change to get back his sons and they werr too broken it showed aswell. Seeing him emotional when being rejected and being abused back was sad. He just needed a second chance
