Cole is immature and needs to grow, but he was 25 on the show so that’s relatively normal. Zanab was 31 on the show and while I empathize with her trauma and issues, she behaved terribly. Cole certainly did annoying things, but he was earnest whereas her utter lack of respect and total contempt for him was unacceptable. If she hadn’t had so many issues a couple of days into meeting she would’ve done the right thing and just told him it wasn’t a match because they’re at different life stages. Instead she built escalating dominance and superiority and she tore him apart to feed her own ego. While I think they weren’t a match, he didn’t deserve that. And at the reunion it was pretty clear she was gaslighting him re: the imaginary girl at his bachelor party. Hopefully Cole can grow from here, I have a lot more hope for him than her but they both deserve better. I wouldn’t be surprised if she has BPD or NPD, and I hope she resolves the deep-seated issues that led to all the negativity and contempt.

Cole is a fantastic young man and he dodged a bullet! I hope wherever he is, he is happy and that he ends up with the sweet, sensible, care-free, down-to-earth woman that he deserves! And Zenad, I don’t believe she is bipolar, I think it’s worse. I believe she is a narcissistic sociopath. Yes, she has trauma..but she always wants to be the passive aggressive victim. She is manipulative and twists EVERYTHING. She is mentally ill, and not the kind that medication can help. With her, changing has to be an intentional choice..and she doesn’t want to change! Yes, she is insecure, but it is a result of HER actions and living in her own fantasy world where people are out to get her. But she gets some joy out of being the “victim” and telling them off. It literally feeds her dopamine.

As a brown girl i really wanted to be team zanab but good God, is it hard to side with her on this. I think she needs therapy. I say this as someone who struggles with projecting and resding into things because of my own insecurities. I rewatched the show and maybe its the edit, but i dont think cole was intentionally trying to hurt her, i think he said dumb things (and granted thats not ok either) but if 80% of a person is showing how much they care about you but 20% is just them being immature, then trust that they care. I do have a question for Cole. I saw the moment right before she started the speech you said something in the line of this is enough for me or something like that. Were you telling her that you were going to say no at the altar that’s why she went off on you. ?

Be you and don’t let those negative and easily to be manipulated, people treat you badly. I really felt bad for how you were treated during the reunion.. know that it’s very hard to deal with a narcissist and the people she manipulated to understand the complexity of dealing with a narcissist. I think Cole is one of the cutest and nicest guys on "Love Is Blind". I think the whole cuties thing was NOTHING. I think what it comes down to is that Zay could never recover from knowing that Cole thought another girl on the show was a 10. And that stuck in her mind and she held it against him. She could have said to herself, "OK, some other girl might be a 10, but a 9 is pretty good too....AND I also have the personality Cole fell in love with." Zay also could have said to herself, "Well there are people who I have met who are cuter than Cole, but that doesn't mean I love them as much or more." HOWEVER, It is really hard to get something like that out of your mind once you know it too. It would be like if a guy says "I think your sister is hotter than you are." Because your sister (or another contestant) is someone you have to keep hanging out with. So that "better option" is always right there. You can't walk away from them. But I think that Cole seems very nice....and he is my personal favorite look, which is blue eyes and dark hair and a combo of handsome/cute.

Why do you think she had no emotion, no empathy when Cole cried when he said he was sorry at the reunion? Because she is a sick person, literally. Think about how atrocious she was at the wedding ceremony. Think about how much malice and venom one must have to play such a theater until the last moment and then to crush that person and look into their eyes rejoicing in the pain of the one in front of you. And all of this comes from a script she has constructed in her mind parallel to reality. She is obsessively paranoid. I feel sorry for Cole and for any man who will enter into a relationship with this woman.

Zay is in no way innocent but I dont think her intention was to hurt him and blast him - even though that's exactly what she did. I just felt bad listening to this interview that Cole may now have the perspective that women are just out there to harm and be vindictive. Sad situation all around.
