The problem of touch surfaces is that they consume a large space and also the response sensitivity is slow, especially with dust and dirt, which reduces sensitivity. To solve this problem, it is preferable to make a ball that can be controlled with the thumb.

I was shopping on Amazon for a 1TB micro sd for my Nintendo switch and I was surprised they were $88 average. I bought one on AliExpress for $8 and it’s worked fine for over a year. I can’t complain. 😂
@dyXurChannelАй бұрын
@@lifeofmike556 Usually the way these really large ones work is that they are in truth like 128GB (or less) and once you reach that limit it either starts overwriting old data or refuse to write new one. Hell even $88 seems "low" since even HDDs still cost like $30 per TB. If I were you I'd take that Micro SD card and use F3 or H2Testw on it. Just back up your data before you do it.
@percy9228Ай бұрын
@@dyXurChannel I'd be sus of anyone who claims they received 1TB card for $8. Also why would a person after 1 year search for this video. They clearly haven't got a clue on checking the capacity and speed yet. For $8 a year ago you would be buying a 64GB card or possibly an 128GB. The person is fake to spread lies so people think they can buy 1TB for $8. I bought a sandisk ultra from aliexpress. and the packaging is not legit and the plastic that you open is fake cheap one too. For the price I'm happy but after seeing your result I now realise it's fake and the chinese companies have gotten their tech to get those speeds, though I question the longevity of these cards now. In the future I would wait for blackfriday sales (I'm in UK) and get from reputable company. I got Sandisk Ultra 256GB (U1 A1) for $13, if I did more research I could have gotten a samsung pro plus from reputable big retailer here for $1 more dollar. amazing sale that I missed and my card is half the write speeds and random access speeds.. That's another thing I wish you did and list the random write and random read speeds. that's where some cards fall short. Thanks for the video and watch out for fake people

They are cheap because the companies harvest the controller chips and nand chips from defective SSD's which are e-waste. Then they place those chips on new boards which explains why some of them looks the same even if they are different brands. Don't buy ACOS SSDs-they are a scam. The issue doesn't show up until the drive is filled to about 50%, at which point the speed drops to 300 KB/sec, which is worse than an HDD or even a USB drive. If you continue using it, it may eventually stop working entirely and become unreadable. This happened with two of the ACOS SSDs I bought. and another is still functional, but only up to 50% capacity-after that, the speed becomes unusable. I recommend buying a Somnambulist SSD or a SUPERHEER SSD instead. These drives have worked perfectly for me, even when filled to 100%. The speed remains consistent, and they don’t break or degrade with heavy use.

I remember when these were more common. those old Z series Atoms were such a pain to do anything with. I had a cheap windows tablet I got for 60 bucks that had a Atom Z8350 and 4GB of RAM. you couldn't do anything at all on it do to the CPU being at 100% load doing pretty much anything on windows 10. because it was a tablet with only a micro USB port, it was far too much effort to try and get anything else installed on it like a linux distro. Funny to think now that this form factor is more viable, it's less common but it seems like mini PCs kinda just filled the gap left there. at some point, things getting smaller stops mattering once you can just throw the computer box behind the monitor and forget about it. I do wonder how it would do at being a client for steam in home streaming or a moonlight/suinshine setup. absolutely fantastic video!
@dyXurChannel2 ай бұрын
Yeah these Tablets were pretty much e-waste the moment they were produced. Especially once a bigger windows update came out and the 32GB of internal storage was not big enough to have the update installed. I did manage to get Fedora onto one, but it was a pain to get it working. In the consumer space the regular 2 sizes of Mini PCs have taken a much bigger hold, but also when you need space something like a Pi Zero is also often already enough for many tasks. The game streaming thing might be something I'll check out.
