Hey Kat, thanks for your videos. Quick question: where do you bank? Do you bank with a American/Western bank or do you use a specific Thai bank? Thanks.

Probably the first time a video ressonated with me. I currently have the chance to live in Chiang Mai but the cost will be my relationship of 6 years and leaving behind the expectations from everyone around me. Am lost(kinda) but deep down I've known for years that i have to do it. Thank you so much for sharing something personal, you helped me a LOT!

I enjoyed your video but was hoping you might consider including the THB cost for those already living in Thailand and looking to move to Chiang Mai, or those from other countries. I know we can do a currency conversion but just wanted to make the suggestion (I know a lot of viewers not from US feel the same way). Thanks again

I see you do a lot of videos enjoying the life, the sunsets, the lifestyle. Do you do anything to actually give back to the Thai community? Do you sponsor any children, do you help build homes, do you do any volunteer work? I'm curious to know how are you giving back to the ppl? Being a teacher doesn't count because you get paid for that. Are you just enjoying yourself or do u give any thoughts to giving back in a real way?

Your videos are so helpful. I am coming in Feb 2025 to test the waters for 90 days to see if I can handle it long term. I am pretty worried about internet speed, latency, and power outages. I have some important clients in the Pacific and Eastern US timezones and I have to facilitate calls (about 5 a week). Do you have any issues with consistent reliable internet? Thanks for sharing your journey!
@katherinenic

Glad you found them helpful! If you live in a condo it's much more reliable, I've almost never had any power outages. When I use to live in a house I had it happen more often but I'd say reliable internet isn't a huge issue in Chiang Mai :)

The far north and the far southern part of Thailand is the most diverse and different areas in Thailand. It is the most preserved and have the most natural parks and agriculture which allow for the pace of life to be slower, also with lesser roads and expressways and more dirt paths.
