Think hard about replacing the stock radio. I added an lc2i, punch 500 and jl 12w3 and it's awful. The stock dsp is absolutely the worst. I've since bought a pioneer and am looking forward to replacing the stock

@@rdaex ​ @RdaEX You could have just removed the AudioControl LC2i and replace it with a DSP from AudioControl or another brand to sum the signal and clean up the factory correction then send a clean unfucked with signal to the amps. You then could use the DSP to tune the EQ, Timing, and crossover points to your liking. The Dayton Audio DSP-408 at $150 could have solved all your problems...

Yeah I currently have a skar evl 12 and a skar Rp 1500.1 I got a passive lloc and tapped that Into the drivers rear speaker wires to power my amp. I want to replace the front speakers with component set and replace the back with some 3 way and put an amp on them. I know I need to get an audio control lc7i. With using your harness to loop the power from the amp through the original wire harness behind the radio would that not be bad since the wires are a smaller gauge than what would be needed. Also, if I don’t run new wires through the molex door plugs how would I hook up components in the front door?

Hey so this makes it so your speakers can be through a amp right? I want a sub and my speakers need more power because the stock deck doesn’t really do it, it sounds good but not as good as it should

You need separate amp for your speakers. I have 1 for subs and 1 for speakers. I suggest getting aftermarket speakers tho

the lp7-2r has the gain remote in case your amp does not come with one . the lp7-2 does not come with a gain remote

you didnt cover the process of hooking up the power wire or feeding it through the firewall and thats what i needed to know...

Hello Austin, running the power wire requires that you remove the battery the filter and the BCM cumputer under the hood on the driver side to get to the rubber boot then you have 2 7mm bolts that hold the boot in place that need to be removed

i guess it deletes the comment if you add another one, so let me combine my two comments. thank you for the info, thanks for getting back to me so quick. will unplugging the BCM computer cause any issues, once i unplug the computer will i need to do any extra steps when plugging it back in, in orderfor the car to work? that sounds scary. do i absolutely have to unplug it or can i get away with only removing the filter and battery, also what do the two 2.7mm bolts connect to, and once i feed the wire through, it will come out somewhere near the brake pedal correct?

Hello Mikaela, thats is a bit odd 🤔. Is it every time u get to 14mph ? It could me a power/amp issue. However the steering wheel controls dont factor so i would ask how are u getting your signal?

In this situation the amp was not in the vehicle. in most situations the connection would be at the amp depending on the vehicles data communication style

Can you clarify on the sonata question? The link provided shows a LOC with RCA outputs, so I am assuming you do not have something like the adapter shown on video that will power the doors as well?
