I've been fishing Schofield quite a bit this year and done really well with a floating bobber and a nightcrawler. Question for you where do you buy your chub meat?
@troutcatchingjedi8118 күн бұрын
Hey Thomas!! Nightcrawler under bobber is an excellent option-makes it a bit tougher if they are feeding near the bottom. I usually buy chub meat but there are some places at Scofield to catch them as well with your method. I just use a small hook and a baby piece of crawler to catch them.

I used your technique at Haws Point today no such luck. Power bait caught everything. Where can I fish to make your technique work for me?
@troutcatchingjedi8121 күн бұрын
@@greggjohnson5458 it takes a little bit of practice and patience. I had several unsuccessful trips before I even had a bite. Keep after it-the fish are loaded near the shore this time of year all around the lake. With the water turning over, I’d say give it another week. Haws should be great!

Awesome! How/where do you catch chubs?
@troutcatchingjedi8121 күн бұрын
They are a little hard to come by-the state is doing better at controlling the populations in a lot of the reservoirs. They can be caught pretty easily with nightcrawlers under a bobber. If you’re not able to find any-sucker meat (carp) would be my second choice.
@Mario-Fishing21 күн бұрын
