For anyone who may read this! x56 SUCKS! The GHOSTING is unreal and will drive you mad! Ghosting is where buttons activate without ever being pushed. So on flight sims wheels will go down by themselves and other controls will activate etc.

13:30 You have a seed of a Terrapin to MSR standard Edition without owning the Terrapin? How did you obtain this CCU without having the Terrapin to begin with to purchase the upgrade to the MSR. How did you get the MSR upgrade too? Was that in the Ship Upgrades list to purchase at that time? Im confused as why you already owned the upgrade and didnt use it at the time you purchased it to your final ship, which is the MSR? Where did you get that terrapin to msr upgrade if you are showing us in this video that you are just now upgrading to a terrapin. IF you had the Terrapin in the past that you bought the upgrade... idk.. this is very confusing how you showed this. You need to explain why you already had a Terrapin to MSR upgrade without even having a Terrapin in your collection yet, that you just bought an upgrade from a Prospector to Terrapin just to be able to use an upgrade you should have!

This is WAY best and most covering (and logically made easy) Viggen take-off tutorial. (I just needed that do I need to set the runway heading. In many viggen campaings the runway heading is vice versa :P But thats maby on maker of campaign / updates etc?)

Thank you. I'm on a slight hiatus right now, but I will eventually get back to this series (I hadn't flown in DCS as a pilot for about 15 months, hence the delays)

I know this is a 3 year old video, but it's still a good summary. I think there is really no going wrong with the Hercs. They are all awesome. I own an M2 as well as an A2, and since I own a Merchantman that means I also have a C2 as a loaner. These ships are great and will serve good. It's worth nothing that the A2 is more than a planetary bomber, it is in fact a Connie killer. It carries more SCUs, and does the same jobs plus the bombing part. It rocks at bounties, specially ERTs. It's as if CIG merged a Connie, a Hammerhead, and a Retaliator together, and the end result was the A2. Easily the game's most versatile gunship. It's only downfall is its outrageous, ridiculous price!

One thing to count for refining your controller, is to look up a spring creator company, for customization of your joy con.. lengthening the longest spring this joy con offers, as "spring companies" offer users greater potential! As I have experience with riding through the challenges of limited product performance in such things. Also going to an "electronics shop that specialize in switches and dials, electronic tuning knobs and LEDs, is a great way to go looking into customizing otherwise unpleasant functions the "joy con comes with". To take a list of what best functions and abilities there are, and then dial into your system what makes your game most effective, changes a decent system into an amazing product! Also looking into getting a 3D printer and cad company to customize the body of your console's joy con controllers, may become even more enjoyable if you see build types you'd like to tune your joy con with.

on warp if you go from kitcen to bridge... you go in space every time- worse bug ever for that ship. I test many many times so... Design is one of the best for industrail ships but loading more type of cargo is useless if you load another first- USELESS

Just picked this thing up to upgrade from a busted x56. So far using the f/a-18 model with this setup is not too bad. Luckily you can use the “<>” types of certain commands to allow the on offs to function like you would expect. Arm<>safe using back and forth on one switch rather than arm or safe being isolated to forward “on” position of a single switch being separate.

Thank you for this review, you saved me from almost buying an X-56. Especially the part of the inflight refuel was a deciding factor. This was the exact reason i was looking for a new stick because my current logitech extreme 3D sucks a** bigtime. I cannot get the plane stable behind the tanker and i know its not me (i dont believe its me because of my extensive experience with sims). Im looking again at the Thrustmaster warthog hotas, but the expenses will keep me from buying it for some time unfortunately. Maybe next year.

There's a couple of minor errors in here, especially concerning altitude. For one, you can release the BK-90 above 500 meters, it's just that the computer won't give you range indications, so you'll have to guesstimate yourself whether your glider will make it or not. (Swedish doctrine assumes that it's never safe to fly above 500m, because of soviet long-range SAMs and fighter dominance) Second information you gave about the Cruise Altitude settings is correct, but the implications you took away from them aren't quite right. The BK-90 release altitude is *always* 50m, if you set the cruise altitude to 500m, that doesn't mean you will drop directly over the target, it means that the missile will try to maintain 500m for as long as possible during its "cruise" phase before suddenly diving down to it's constant 50m release altitude on target. That's why you lose range, it's trying to stay higher longer. (but the cruise altitude setting doesn't actually do anything in DCS, according to the manual as of this writing)

You're forgetting cost, yes the ship may take a little longer than a refinery, perhaps, but the large refineries you mention could be expected to charge a lot for that service in the end, maybe not now, but if it's you and a buddy with your two or three ships, you split the profits minus the expenses.
