I purchased and tried the Bask LA Steamer, and it does NOT work! Don't waste your money!! I tried it three times on the same nails to remove my gel polish, and it does NOT work!! I will continue to have my nail technician safely remove my gel polish!

Did you find it smudged when you applied the top clear coat? Did you have a primed based coat on your nails beforehand aswell? ❤ ive been messing around with mine for a while just on fake nail sets and still struggling to find a good result thats durable. I think the most effective way was applying a matte coat for the base and then let it dry completely before applying the paint pens with your art. Let that dry and then apply a top coat of clear and even some designs looked better with the matte applied on top again giving softer vibes..

It will depend on the top coat used… I think if you do a quick dry top coat and then paint on that and top coat again, it will work nicely. But also maybe just waiting for the polish to dry well, using the pens, then using a water based top coat, then a quick dry top coat. It will depend, there are a bunch of ways to get it to work probably

I tried it and didn't make my manicure last longer either plus sometimes too thick and come off. I do it only with the clear to had treatment to the free edge.

Today I should receive "tough Luv"! I won't do the one coat a day either:1- for same reasons as our host, 2- it'll be completely dried, so very unlikely the treatment will get to the nails. I'll try without the clear and how many coats it'll depend on the thickness, for same reason as^above^ As for any I tried, I doubt without the glossy clear as 1st and last coat they aren't chip free for a week, as with generally is with all the brands I tried. The plan is to try once, then HOPEFULLY I'll be able to use it as a base coat as I do with the Original(tried the Matte, finish it in a year, 1st Winter ever that I didn't get peeling on my 2 usual culprits)... WILL SEE.If it doesn't work as a base coat then I'll use my thinnest clear in Winter as I do with other oil based nail polishes.

I ❤ that you swatch on 3-4 nails at the time with different variations, very clear zooming. Maybe Darth Vader shade refers to the lightsaber which is bright in the middle and has a red glow and it shows magnetized with cat eye (as u have on middle finger) 🙂.

If you do Fiyero’s My Mani as a base color w/ Oh, For Oz Sake on top it makes For Oz Sake pop. Or over a dark color like black or deep purple etc. , it almost looks duochrome.

You can do this heated warmed acetone trick with an at home coffee maker warming plate. Just put a microwave/oven safe bowl with acetone to cover your nails and put it on your coffee maker warming plate and wait till it’s warmed and soak for the same amount of time. Saw another person recommend this ❤ shouldn’t over heat either just warm acetone like this

I was wondering about this too but turns out the oil is inside the glove, and then she dips her gloved hand into warm water, which is easier than using a whole container of warm oil
