I realize this is 3 years old so Premiere looks a little different now. That being said, when changing the sequence working color space to rec 709 there is another option for 'Auto Tone Map Media.' Should that be checked? It is checked by default. Awesome video!

Looks like with the new Auto Tone Map Media you don't need to do the interpretation of the footage anymore. But you need to remember that for every sequence you got this should be checked otherwise it will be inconsistent. Thanks a lot for watching !

According to their FAQ the ZV-1 II supports everything on this app, so once you plug it in, set up the camera correctly, and open the app, it should all work :D

I really thought this was gonna be my new camera backpack but you said something at 04:34 that now excludes it from my list of possibilities. I fly a lot and one thing I just realized that I do with my two current camera backpacks is that there is an upper zippable storage area that can be easily accessed. The flap on this bag BLOCKS that upper storage area. This is crucial in that when my backpack is stored underneath the seat in front of me while flying, I can't just reach down to open that upper storage area to grab whatever it is I need (headphones, snacks, cables/charger, etc.). I'll have to slide the ENTIRE bag out and lift it up to undo the straps and fold over the flap just to access that top compartment. This is definitely a dealbreaker for me. I had it in my cart and ready to buy already, I'm glad I came across your video.

You're completely right, it's exactly what I have to do every time. I also thought about it first as a down side, but considering the amount of time the bag is in such situation (below the seat) or just on my back, I started feeling the protection this gives when I'm going around is very comforting. The way I do it now is that before flying I get headphones out, and these small necessities I put in the pocket in front of the bag. If you see in the video, there's this frontal pocket, that doesn't get completely covered by the flap, so all you need to do is slide the bag out a bit and you can get stuff from it. Thanks for commenting your opinion, it's great for people checking this out to understand if it suits them :D

If you're filming yourself, and with a boom mic, then yeah, you'll have to rely on the flippable screen. For any other scenario, like using a wireless mic, or filming other people it won't really matter.

In their FAQ page there's a bunch of scenarios that can be preventing it from working. Mostly they are settings in the camera that block this connection. Check them out and you'll probably find the answer for your case :D

Yep. I just discovered editing with proxies. I choose to use proxy files 10x smaller than original file. I can edit just about anything on my MacBook Air with only 8gig memory.

Exactly, now you can do anything! Just the export is going to take longer because it reconnects with the original media, but then just leave it there exporting and go have a coffee :D

This was amazing to use, until one of the firmwares on my FX3 bricked the bluetooth function and made it stop working. And now I can't even use it with a cable

@@FlyEnri There was only version I could downgrade to and it didn't work, so the issue must have happend from an earlier upgrade. I only realized the bluetooth stopped working after 1.5 years of not using it, so I can't exactly tell which firmware version did it.

how would i edit an interview efficiently? to be able to edit the audio i have to unlink the clip, when i then cut the video, the cut is only on the video, so i have to manually add the cuts to the two audio tracks and also i feel like it is easy to mess up the timeline with audio not being in sync! would love a quick response to this on how to do it correctly or you could maybe even do a follow up video?

Which app are you using ? Premiere ? On DaVinci you don't need to create an unsynched layer of audio, you can simply tell it to consider both audios as the right and left channels. But you can anyways group items together in Premiere or DaVinci, just select them and Link or Group. This should be enough for the cuts to be applied to all items.

Some items can block the HDMI info from being displayed, check sony's website for these things. One for example are the proxies, if they are enabled it might block the HDMI. Also Ctrl With Smartphone I believe.

You asked for comments if I plan to migrate away from Premiere Pro. After this video I am soo out of there. I spent an hour and a half in Adobe support chat with them shuffling me from person to person until the last one just hung up on me after entering the room. No way will I pay Adobe one more penny. Adobe Cloud Sub expres in November but I'm done. it just crashes everytime i open the app and support is worthless. thx for your video. you set my mind at ease. i prefer the lifetime purchases!

hi enri - i have a wireless rode mic and use it with an action cam which has a mono mic socket for my youtube vloging channel - the audio comes out muffled with noise (im saving up for a gopro or djosmo) i wondered if you could do a video which shows how to sort out the audio and create a template/preset for the setting? id be happy to email you links or even upload the raw clips to my googledrive at the moment my audio i just cant seem to sort out properly so a video how to for that would be great so i can upload better sound on my youtube uploads also- if you could do a video on connecting rode wireless mic to cameras with mono mic socket, or budget action cameras which can be used with rode wireless microphones so that the source file has much better audio clarity thanks a lot subscribed!

After 50 videos I give up on this!!!!!!!!! Not a single vlogger has shown how to properly expose a photo without a meter!! Hey just slap your phone on your camera shoot away!! No worry about exposures, or camera settings.. Its all good!!!!!

There's something off, this is a camera screen recording app, not a exposure tutorial for photos :) But if that's an issue, I'd be glad to do one, it might interest a lot of other people too !
