Careful with the weight and intensity on the last drill. That one can cause injury if over done.

Hi Neha, great video!! May I ask how heavy the medicine ball should be used for boy junior players? And any particular brand of medicine ball you'd recommend?

Hey Tommy, thanks. Good question, I can't suggest an exact weight but I would always err on the side of lighter weight to reduce change of injury. I think anywhere between 4-6lbs is a good place to start. Get a ball that is bouncy - I think the Amazon basic medicine balls are just fine.

Coming out of second shoulder surgery. Took up tennis years after first one. This one extensive and hard to rehab/strengthen/become painfree from. Although I am currently doing a couple of these exercises already, the others are new to me, and I plan to use them right away. My goal is to play tennis painfree again, so encouraged by more tools to help me get there. Thank you!

Nice video. Do you know about the cmc joint pain at the base of the thumb. I've suddenly started experiencing that pain and I'm not able to get rid of it even after rice therapy.

do you have any excercises for strengthening lower back muscles and also to build stronger serves ?

Lower back strength is so important. I didn't make any videos but using a bosu ball for back extension, doing single and double leg Superman's and opposite arm/opposite leg raises in high reps are great way to get a strong core/back. I also really recommend swimming laps and planks.

I just finished reading these golf swing tricks , Jοmtοnο Naha (Go ogle it) a week ago before heading out and placing the routines to the assessment. I never thought that after actively playing for Three decades, my swinging proficiency could still be better. Aside from that, the practice drills also helped modify some tiny but essential positions that I once thought didn’t matter.

Excited to try these! I am getting back into tennis and actually learning proper technique through lessons and I think that has caused some wrist pain so I want to strengthen my wrists to hopefully reduce pain from happening.

I think it’s really important to bring a couple pairs of socks because if it’s really hot and you sweat a lot you need to change them so you dummy blisters

Depends on individual strength levels. Medicine balls range from 2lbs - 30lbs. My range is/was 6-10lbs depending on exercise.
Thank you neha and how much does it cost to enter a tournament of itf I saw atp challenger250 was 100dollars for qualifiers and 400dollars for main draw which means itf m15 and m25 might have less cost?
